Treating and Tricking 2014 edition

Oh Halloween. It was a different one this year. With the passing of my brother in law the week before, I wasn't completely into the whole spirit of it this time around. We took the boys to the costume store and spent about an hour sandwiched between smelly, sweaty, tatted teenagers (and parents), staring at the massive wall of bloody vampires, crazy clowns, deranged zombie costume choices . And then waited in a long line comparable to the ones at Disneyland to give the under aged worker our numbers to see if they even HAD the darn costume in the back. Only for the boys to decide they both wanted to be what they were 2 years in a row already. Hey, can't complain. It saved me 50 bucks! I was super excited about Lindi's costume. I even got sponge curlers for her hair! But they didn't stay in very long, her hair was too short and they ended up falling out throughout the day. But she made for the cutest 80's work out girl:) We had fun eating burgers and dogs at Casey's parents and then going to the Clouse's carnival by my parents. And of course we couldn't end the night without a melt down of all melt downs by Rusty! When he falls asleep in the car, you know he was beyond spent. Sigh. At least it was on a Friday night this year and we could all sleep in the next morning! And have candy for breakfast.
