4th Of July, Aspen Grove

The last full day happened to be on the 4th of July.
The counselors put on a little devotional that morning.

Excited for her last day of groups!

Getting in some adult time on our last day of freedom.

We bid farewell to our amazing counselors.
They did they same thing week after week for the whole Summer.
Saints.
And they were not allowed to receive tips.
I found them on Venmo.

We had some time before dinner to play some family games.

Then we left Aspen Grove for the much anticipated STADIUM OF FIRE!

Keith Urban was the head performer.

We crawled into bed late, only to get up early to pack up for the next portion of the trip.
First, we took a walk down memory lane to the tiny A-framed cabin where
the first set of Aspen Grove memories began.

The original group.
Only Craig was maybe 1 week in utero.
The tiny cabin behind us.
They don't use these for guests anymore.
They are for storage now.

What an accomplishment.
To go from this...

To this....

There was no shortage of blood, sweat, and tears between those 18 years.
Just a testament to what prayers and faith of loving parents can do....
create one big loving family.
