CUTENESS

Last week the boys had a little photo shoot down at JCPenneys. It was a last minute thing...seriously! Getting pictures taken is something that stresses me out the most so I avoid it if possible. I knew I needed to get them done before Rusty got too big and out of his cute 6 month baby stage. Tuesday night as I was checking emails a coupon came through and I saw that you can make your own appointment online.

Why not tomorrow morning?
Just get them done.
No thinking about it.
No trying to find perfect matching outfits.
Worring all week about them tripping and getting a big fat bruise or noticeable scratch marks.
Tomorrow it IS!

The next morning I rummaged through Lanes drawers and found his only button up shirt without logos or pictures on it. Luckily he had a haircut the week before or else he would have looked like his uncle David:)

Rusty pretty much only has and wears the five pack onsies from Target everyday. I don't like wearing clothes, why should my kids have to?! We went to the mall an hour early so I could feed them lunch and go to the GAP to find something for Rusty to wear. Told you, what a game plan!

With Marcie's help we managed to:
go upstairs to go potty,
go downstairs to buy an outfit,
go upstairs to eat lunch with no ketchup or milk spills,
go downstairs to look one more time at outfits to make sure we picked the best one,
go upstairs to go poo poo (gotta teach him how to do both at the same time)
then back downstairs to take pictures.

They turned out so cute!

I  love my boys! I love that I can say my boys! I don't know why I had so much anxiety about it because they both were angels the minute we started posing them. I had a smile on my face the whole time standing back adoring them taking pictures together as brothers. I  know they are going to be best friends and that is the greatest feeling!

Afterwards we took a trip back to the GAP to return the really cute but already have white shirt at home but didn't think to bring it and wish I could keep and not feel guilty $25 pair of shorts. I had intentions of keeping them but just couldn't justify it. Is that bad? Don't tell me if it is! Lane got a well deserved DQ cone and play time on the toys.

It was a fun day. Productive and glad it's over...until Sept that is when it's family picture time. Help us all!

Cute cute CUTE! Love the baseball theme. Yes, that's fun that you get to say {my boys}. I think it would be great to have another boy. A best bud for Collin. So what does JC charge? Was it reasonable? And how dare you take pics in a new outfit and then return it! For shame. You know where stealers go.

So it was iffy if we were going to come home at all since moolah is tight but I think we will anyway. Debt shmet. That's what credit cards are for right? And that splash park looks fun! Holy 30 bucks a person, but it looks way better than sun splash for sure. It would be fun to celebrate our birthdays together! And I guess we could throw Marcie's in too :)

First off, I am so with you on the teaching little boys to poop and pee at the potty stop. Ugg.

Secondly, they are so stinkin cute! I dont know how you got a 6 month old and a 3 yr old to smile in the same pic.amazing!

how's the porch swing search going?

Love it! The drool coming off Rusty's chin in the baseball picture is classic 6 month old. Seriously, I'm so jealous you have boys. I love my girls and all, but I could use another boy in the house to balance out all this estrogen.

These are ADORABLE. They both look so different. It's like Rusty grew up and got chubby all of a sudden;) So there are no Dillard's out here.. is that where you get all of Lane's cute skater stuff?
I was surprised how much I stressed family pictures the last time we took them. You want the outfits to go, but not necessarily match.

ohhh it was quite the adventure that's for sure! fun times. We should have asked the chik fil a cow to come down and get in a couple pics too. That would have been awsome.

Adorable pictures. Too bad you won't be able to enjoy them in Hell for stealing :) hehe. Umm, don't ask don't tell. It works in the military, why not at GAP? Your boys are gorgeous. I am glad Stella has 2 to choose from.
