Toro Boy / Peaches R Us

.
Casey had his 10 year high school reunion Saturday night.
.
Where are the pictures? Let me rephrase.
.
Casey had his 10 year high school reunion Saturday night but refused to go! I can't say I'm not surprised by that. I don't blame him either because I will refuse to go to my own next year as well. I guess we are two peas in a pod.
.
I like to hear stories about Casey when he was in high school since I didn't know he even existed back then. He was a great baseball player (from what I've heard:) and super smart. He drove a single cab, forest green chevy truck which totally fits him to a T! I can imagine him trying to slip between the crowds due to his shyness but know a lot of people knew who he was due to his great personality and ahem... good looks:)
.
Even though we didn't attend the reunion night, I did however send in a bio sheet for the alumni book, which I just received in the mail. It was fun to look through and to see how many different things could go on in ones life in 10 years! I would have to say our bio hit about right around the norm but some really took those 10 years at full speed ahead!
.
These next ones gave me a little chuckle

Hmm, I wonder what the next 10 years will bring us?

Switching gears...
I promise I am not trying to turn this blog into a baking one.

I like (sometimes love if kids aren't crawling up my leg) to cook, so when I find a good recipe I share because I appreciate those who share there lovelies.
.
I found this off a blog. It's a little teaser before Fall really hits but since Utah peaches are in, might as well make good use of them!

Behold, the BEST Peach-Pecan Swirl Cobbler... EVER!

Recipe found here.

*I doubled the peach filling ingredients and tripled the pecan rolls to make a 9x13 size. I also peeled my peaches.

Definitely not as pretty as hers but for sure the only way I'll ever make peach cobbler for now on!

Yummo! Looks delicious. Where do you get your Utah peaches? Does someone bring them to you from Utah and is there a way I can get some?

We didn't go to the reunion either! I heard it was fun but not very many people came. It was too expensive for us (sorry if you read this Brooke). I wish I would have done the bio book thing. I'll have to come check yours out sometime time. You know you can always ask Joe if you ever want to hear about Casey in high school, well baseball anyways. I keep looking for you at the gym! I only work on Thursdays though. Do you bring your kids?

when did you make that cobbler?? If you made it today and didn't share with me you are in trouble =) Leann just bought a huge box of peaches so I really want to make that....oh wait I hate cooking and due to have a baby any minute doesn't help....so how about I will give you my peaches and you can make it for me =) Just kidding, you do so much for me i owe you. Well I like that you post recipes on here because they always are things that I would love. Keep sharing.

ps I think it is funny how opposite our hubby's are...I'm sure you couldn't pay Casey enough to go to his class reunion and then you have Shaun who is on the committee helping plan ours!! I really don't care if I go or not but I don't think I have a choice in the matter now.

Holy cow, that cobbler looks GOOD! The nice thing is that I can just give my mom the recipe & she will make it for us because SHE loves to cook/bake too! I'm working on it. :)

You really should make a food blog! I was thinking that with your last post. Some girls out here started one that I've put a couple recipes on, but haven't really stuck with it. That peach cobbler looks delish. Wish we lived close enough for a taste.

WHAT?!! Casey didn't go to his high school reunion?! Shocker :) I thought it would be fun to go to ours, then I reconsidered. No thanks. Not really even an option, so maybe the 20 year...

How did pictures go? Hope to see some posted soon!
