Love me some WARM WEATHER ♥ VALENTINES ♥ & SWEET BOYS

We had the most glorious ♥warm weather♥ a couple weeks ago. Like knock your socks off, put your hands in the air, holla, lets go outside and roll around in the sun awesome weather. Did you get the point? Haha. Non the less it called for a zoo day:) We recruited Val and cousins and even Grammy came! I believe this was Rusty's first time and boy did he have a blast! We all had a blast!

We had so much fun that we continued  at Tia Rosas for dinner. The balloon guy found his way over to our table...

We celebrated ♥ Valentines Day ♥. Our plan was to decorate dads truck down at the yard and leave his present on his seat for him to find after work. Weeelll, when we pulled in to do our sneaky business guess who was there only for a minute to get something out of his truck before going to his next job? Yep, Casey. We got busted. Of all days he actually goes to the yard mid day. So plan B. Decorate the shower.

We had a lovely dinner at home then headed out to Yogurtland for dessert!

They boys were super excited to get a special Valentine in the mail from their cousin Collin all the way from NY!

 I was at a girls night where the host had Valentines quotes on a piece of paper. One of them was If love is blind why is lingerie so popular!!! I would have to agree. All in all it was very romantical (name that movie) day!


I am pretty sure I have two of the ♥ sweetest boys♥ ever. Rusty loves this baby doll. Baby takes naps with Rusty and goes to bed at night with him. Hi gives kisses and makes sure paci is in. Just like his routine. It doesn't sleep in the crib with him but has it's own sleeping spot on top of the blanket basket right close by.

Both boys have become super assertive. The other day I changed my toe nail polish color while Rusty was taking a nap. When he woke up I was getting him a drink and when he was walking away to play he looked down, pointed to my toes and said ooo, pretty toes mom. I was amazed that he even took notice of my toe nail colors. He also notices when I change his sheets and has the Enya cd that we listen to in the car memorized.

Then we have this boy. Oh how I love his costume creations from school! Casey took this picture because he wouldn't let me take one. Whats with that?!

Casey added some molding to our kitchen. While Lane was watching a movie I painted it white. Later that night when the kids were in bed I added the brown glaze. The next morning I was awakened by him running in saying. Mom, somebody got your paint all dirty! He was really worried I was going to be mad. Oh my sweet boys!!
