Week 3 of Utah

Grandma playing us some tunes after at home church.

The Yamamoto's swung by to visit after driving in from St. George!

Another family Sunday dinner with BYU creamy flowing strong.
I needed it because I dropped Casey off at the airport.
He wouldn't be back for 2 weeks to help drive us home.
2 weeks seemed like an eternity!

We did still have Grandma and Grandpa staying with us which helped.

Monday we went to Thanksgiving Point!
Olive spent the night so matchy hair seemed fun.

We started at the Dinosaur Museum.

Then on to the Museum of Natural Curiosity

Grandpa lets us do all the fun things!
Ropes course for the boys!

I had never been out their gardens.
The koi ponds were massive!
And loaded with hungry fish fighting over food.

Christopher met up with us on his lunch break.

My mom always raves about this Light of the World garden in Ashton Gardens.
Maybe it's because we know the sculptor.
It was hot and at the end of a long day, but we took her word
for it and walked a mile to get there.
She was right, spectacular!

There were about a dozen or so hand sculpted statues of Christ life or church
historical events. Amazing!

Hangry was an understatement!
Leatherby's hit the spot once again.

And this snuggle buddy of mine.
I didn't mind since by big snuggle buddy was at home in AZ.

We hiked to Doughnut Falls up by Brighten ski resort.
They call it Doughnut Falls because the water shoots into a big donut looking hole:)
The picture below is bad, but you can see it.

It was a little treacherous.
At one point grownups had to climb down a mini cliff to hand kids off to.
Then walk through the freezing cold, rocky stream to get to the Falls.

We made it and it was worth it!

Then we drove up the mountain a little further to get to Silver Lake
where Jael and her kids were waiting for us.
This was more of a scenic walk around a lake.
It was pretty!

Stephanie fed us dinner at her house.
My parents hadn't seen it yet.
The kids played and played once again!
