Spring (sports) Time!

Lane had his very first high school baseball game!
I got there and couldn't believe my eyes.
They basically looked like college guys to me.
A drastically different environment than Little League ages.
Which was all that we really knew!

He seemed so grown up.
Well, he kind of is!
Gahhh, change is weird.
But I'm loving it.
He is loving it!

He is on the JV team, and is their starting short stop.
Which is pretty good considering he is a Freshman, and there
are quite a few Sophomores, even Jr's on the team who don't start.

He tried pitching, but his shoulder was injured from a muscle pull.
Kind of a bummer.
We had him with a private pitching coach, and I was hopeful he could do more of it.
It took the whole season to feel better.
He will be ready for next year!

I literally stopped my car and got out to capture the painting in the sky!
It was moody, swirly, and gorgeous!

The elementary school had their relay race for all grades.
Lindi and Rusty both qualified to represent their classroom!

Somebody was tired.

Rusty wrapped up flag football.
Undefeated at that!

His last game was WINDY and COLD!

Those clouds though...

They took 1st in their tournament!

Neighborhood BBQ!

Notice the sky, once again.

And jackets! I felt like we had a more windy than usual Spring this year.

The relief society committee and I had an activity.
It was "Favorite Things" themed.

I was pretty proud of our charcuterie display!

Della had her very last preschool field trip before moving on to Kindergarten.
And my last preschool field trip for that matter!

I definitely felt like the old mom in the group amongst the pregnant, young moms.
No baby or stroller in tow.
Just my keys and phone!
Such a phenomenon.
I'm crossing over to the next phase of life in a short few months!

We went to the Idea museum.
A place a spent my childhood at.
Full circle.

The only picture is a terrible one, of course.
