We had a free day of no dance commitments,
so we took advantage and was on the go, go go!
so we took advantage and was on the go, go go!
Our going started as early as possible.
We were first in line for DCA!!
If it were up to me, we would still be sleeping, lol.
Why do kids get fomo so bad?!
Once I was up and moving,
I was grateful to sneak in some rides with no wait time.
I was grateful to sneak in some rides with no wait time.
At the very front of the rope drop.
It blows my mind how so many people enjoy this level of crazy
at a premium price, us included!
Power walking through the park never made me laugh more!
The first morning we were doing this, I was cackling watching
the sheer survivor tactics people were using to inch
their way closer to the front of their ride destination.
I looked to the side to see a lady in a motorized scooter,
body shifted all the way forward with white knuckles
giving it all the speed it would muster to keep up with the stampede!
It was madness in its truest form!
Ready, set.....
GOOOOO!!!
I must admit how peaceful it was first thing in the morning.
No crowds and you could actually hear the music on the speakers!
At this point Della was getting a little moody.
Can you see it on her face?
I figured it was from the late nights and early mornings.
Things that normally don't bother her were making her emotional.
So much so I had to buy her cotton candy to get her happy again.
Having a baby at Disneyland makes everything more exciting and fun!
Especially when it's not your baby, ha!
Junie is the SWEETEST thing, and was dancing and grooving her
way through It's A Small World!
I wish I could post videos but my computer wont let me for some reason.
We were all giggling and doting on her.
I FINALLY got to try Bangle BBQ!
My kids wont go for it.
I've always had to forgo it in the
sake of keeping things easy on other trips.
Pure torture to smell it wafting in the air when you walk by and not partake!
Luckily it is Jake and Valerie's favorite, so once again
we divided and conquered adult and kid lunches.
It did not disappoint!!!
Rusty and Lux' car stalled and backed everyone up for a good 10 minutes!
Ok Disney, why you gotta create such a terrible ride that makes you sicker
than being in an actual plane crash!!
Oi!
I should have known it was going to be bad when I noticed each seat had air vents
blowing directly into your face.
I was turning green real fast.
We got back to the room around 9:30, little did I know what a long night
it would turn into.
On top of Della not being her normal self, she was complaining that
her tooth hurt.
I kept looking and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
She fell right to sleep so I figured she was extra tired.
Not 20 minutes later she started tossing and turning and
and crying uncontrollably that it was hurting really bad.
She was already maxed out on ibuprofen (which was all that I had)
and had a cold water bottle on her mouth, as a make shift ice pack.
Boy do you feel helpless stuck in a hotel room
without your normal first aid stuff!!
without your normal first aid stuff!!
After an hour I was thinking I would have to get an uber to urgent care
because nothing seemed to calm her down.
By this point it was close to midnight.
In desperation I called Travis, my bro in law who is a dentist to see
if he had any ideas on what it was and how to help her.
Facetiming her mouth wasn't working at all.
He assumed it was an abscess forming and she would need anti biotics.
He assumed it was an abscess forming and she would need anti biotics.
CA is really strict and he wouldn't be able to call in a prescription for me.
He told me to give her Tylenol on top of ibuprofen for pain control
and he would see her as soon as we got home.
Which was in 2 days! Agh!
If it got worse we would need to head to urgent care.
I really didn't want to do that, so a quick call downstairs
confirmed that the gift shop did have over the counter stuff but it closed in 10 minutes!
I threw on some clothes and bolted down there!
It was more than legit, it was like a mini Walgreens!
Never have I ever been more happy to drop $11 on gum relief gel!
I grabbed more meds and those things did the trick.
Along with some mighty prayers
she was able to sleep through the rest of the night.
Which was a relief since she had a big day coming up!
