Slowest month of the year- August

I have to dig deep during the month of August.
Our new routines are starting.
It is hot, hot, hot.
Sitting in my car doing my daily running kids back and forth is the pits.
I would rather be sitting by a pool.
There is usually no vacations or anything to look forward to.
It just drags along.

No kid should have to go to school in 120 degree weather,
but here they are.

Rusty as a Freshy!
His first day of high school!

You would never know it was 6:30 am.
Looks like it could be noon outside!
Catching his ride to A hour with Lily.
Bless the teenager drivers in the hood to minimize my
morning drop--offs!

Elementary girlies.
Lindi's LAST YEAR!!

6th and 2nd grade.

No picture of Lane on his first day
as he was still in bed taking advantage of no 1st hour in
his senior glory.

Also taking advantage of leaving campus for lunch!
Another senior only perk.

Sister temple trip.
Abbey asks us to go with her once in a while.

And we couldn't stop laughing as Marcie's
pregnant bump makes it look like a gigantic boob!

Someone got creative with the tissue mess on the floor.

Golf started right off the bat of the school year starting.

However, the district has a policy that you can't be
outside if its past a certain temperature.

Which, duh, in Arizona that means not until November!
They had to improvise, or just break the rules, or else they never would have
gotten to play!

Both boys were on the team.
Which made it easier for me, because Lane would drive
Rusty everywhere he needed to be!

I loved when his face would show up on the schools social media page!

They only let the top 5 players do matches.
I took Rusty and Gus to cheer them on and get a feel
for what it is like compete against other schools.

How cute are Ben, Sawyer and Lanes trucks all in a row!

Haboob season.

Squeezing in Saturday lake trips kept my sanity!

Golf stuff times 2, all over the house.

And poor Rusty had quite a load to carry each day.

Adult neighbor lake trip!

Seeing how Lane asked to Homecoming through
his dates instagram stories.

Teenage boys sure keep you in the dark on things!

More golf!

I like when my mom goes to watch him, because she can get the pictures
he refuses to let me take.
Can't say no to Grandma!

Another year of Lane being a purple person at the
Homecoming assembly.

Rusty participating in his first assembly!
It's a bad screenshot of a video, but that's my boy!!

Twinning with my twin at the lake!

He must mean business with this kind of stretching!

Cutest buns in my view all afternoon.

You can see a storm brewing.
I came pretty fast forcing us back to the dock.

Prettiest rainbow over the water.

Turban twins.

Marcie had her baby!
These girls had been begging to go see baby Jane.
I gave her a good week of no germs before succumbing to
their requests.

She really is the cutest!
