It was time again for our annual Lindblom family camping trip up on the rim by Woods Canyon Lake. My family has been camping every summer for as long as I can remember. These troopers were up there Wed - Sat. but we were only able to make it up all day Saturday this year... so sad! We love going camping, especially with this great group.

I guess on Friday afternoon they got caught in a lightning/hale storm and they all thought they were going to die. That tree was in the middle of there camp site and you can see were the lightning hit the tree all the way down to the ground

So why did you only go for Saturday? I think I would have driven up by myself if Casey had to work, but then after seeing that tree hit by lightning, maybe it's better you didn't! I'm sad I missed it. I miss Lane!!!!!!!!
Wow it looks like fun but camping was never my thing now The Hotel Del in Coronado where you'll be next week is more my Cup of Tea! Enjoy and have lots of Mootime ice cream for me! Especially silly-vanillie! I'm so jealous:{
P.S. Tell you wonderful Mother-In-Law the palm trees and raspberry lemonaide will be waiting for her when she gets home on Friday! She'll get it trust me!

Look at you go with this awesome post! Okay so I'm not going to lie. I'm SO not a camper. but this is the first time it actually looks like I could do something like this and have a blast! And are you kidding me with that picture of Lane hanging from the bar?? THAT CUTE FACE! He's such a hoot. I can only imagine how much fun your family has with him. Have so much fun in CA. I envy you at this point. We have something fun to do when you get back you know!!...SHELF PAINTING BABY! I think i'm headed to Home Depot this morning to check it out. I pick up my sign from Poppy's today too- you'll have to see it!

Oh... Family camping such fond memories. Never without an adventure... When I went with you all there was that misterious bug going around... Oh boy! This year there was the freak storm... I am actually quite sad I was not born a Lindblom sometimes... Such fun times had by all!

Yeah you are home!! I start preschool this week but we still can find I time to get together!! How was the beach and Cali. I can't wait to se pictures!!
