We were so lucky to be able to go on vacation with both of our families these past 2 weeks. Week one was spent with the Goodman's in Coronado at the wonderful Hotel Del Coronado. We had so much fun playing at the beach, eating at yummy restaurants, fun bike rides, going to Sea World and just spending quality time as a family. Thank you Grammy and Papa G for taking us on such an amazing trip!
Week 2 was with my family in Oceanside. We always enjoy our stay at North Coast
Village. We missed Stephanie, Travis and Christopher who couldn't come so to make up for them, Marcie brought her fun friend Allison:) We hit up the beach, hit up some yummy food (except for half of the day on Sunday for Casey and Allison who are GOOD and fasted on vacation. Notice their sad faces in the pics below as they watch Marcie and me scarf), we are very tight with Shamu now, and the boys went deep sea fishing Friday morning. Poor Casey was the only one to toss his cookies.
Thank you again to both of our families for including us on your fun vacations! We enjoyed every second of it. Back to reality...darn!

Wow I get to be the first to comment. I guess I feel a LITTLE better that we weren't the only ones to miss out on all the fun. When we realized it would cost 1500to fly out we decided to just go to NY City for Christmas break. Airlines are ridiculous. I liked the Sea World family pic. It looked just like the old one, minus a few. Lanes buns were adorable and Casey is going with an interesting look there with the chest :) Have I mentioned I miss Lane? He looks more and more like Casey as he gets older.
I am SOOO jealous. First of all because you got to vacation for 2 weeks, second of all because you are soooooooo tiny!!! Oh my gosh! You get skinnier every day! I love your longer hair too. It looks good. I was trying to grow mine back out but when I got it "trimmed" it pretty much got butched. Oh well.
Man, your pictures made me miss the beach. Looks like you guys had a BLAST! I love it over there! I agree with Lara, dang girl your so tiny. I could not eat for 2 years and I'd still be bigger than you. You look great though, seriously. I bet you hated to come home, I know I would.
Ha! I love that they fasted!! I can totally see Jess doing that and I would be downin' the diet coke!! Sad to be back for sure! We had a blast together!!!
OH MY GOSH SHELLEY- SERIOUSLY I'M GRINNING EAR TO EAR RIGHT NOW ADMIRING ALL OF THESE AMAZING PICTURES. Are you kidding me with those bike buggies you all rented for the day??? Why have we not vacationed yet together is the big question?? Seriously...we need to get planning. CALIFORNIA IS THE BEST- Looks like you guys had an AMAAAZING time together. Cutest pictures EVER!!!

WOw I have been a blog slacker and haven't checked in on anybody in ages! Love all the fun pics! Glad we got to spend a fun filled week with you guys! i love reading about the family vacation from every angle in the family...I feel like I was there after all the pictures I've looked at. And let's be honest, I wish I could have been there because you guys must have had a blast!
