I cannot even tell you how sad I am that summer is slowly coming to an end! Labor Day is so hard for me because I know that the next holiday is Halloween and that the cold is coming. Even though I have come to grips with this, we had so much fun spending the last summer holiday with Leah and Shaun. Shaun got some free tickets to
Sunsplash from work so they were nice enough to invite us and let us tag along with them. I cannot express my love enough for this place. Most people think that
Sunsplash is gross and ghetto but I have
lot's of fun fond memories of this place as a kid. My mom is a kid at heart and would always take us there every summer. We would spend all day there and at night when I was in bed it still felt like I was swaying in the wave pool .Thanks again Leah and Shaun for an awesome day!
Following
Sunsplash we headed over to Casey's parents for a yummy Labor Day BBQ. Here are the kids enjoying there homemade
ice cream popsicles that Grammy G made for them.
After that the day wouldn't have been complete with out going to my parents to swim and relax in the hot tub.
I am so mad that the flash wasn't working. Lane has learned to jump off of the highest rock all by himself. You can kind of see his
nakedness in the air.

I haven't been to sunsplash in seriously YEARS!! Looks like fun!! I am still doubled over in laughter from casey diving...that is so WRONG :)

You guys had a fun and busy day for sure! I just now caught your last post about Casey in the Olympics! I laughed so hard, just ate dinner and now I have a serious belly ache!! ;) too funny!
Oh, no I feel very sorry for you and your 60 degree winters! That is too bad!! :) It's a rough life. Sunsplash looked like tons of fun! So who won on the lily pads, you or Leah? It looked like Shaun wasted Casey. I was never very good at those.

Oh Lane! Love that boy!! Hey so do I need to call the swim lesson teacher now to get my kids in for June? Let me know!! I would love to do season Sunsplash passes but I am thinking that is not too smart with a baby---probably wouldn't use it much. Anyway, hopefully we can get the boys together soon....I am ready to be well again!!
Love the pictures and you look amazing! The last time we were at Sunsplash was a few years ago and I had a baby at the time and had to sit and watch everyone. My boys LOVE it!

Um hi your hair is soo long and cute! I really havent seen you in forever! Im goin to Utah tomorrow to visit my friend that just moved up there last month but ill be back next tuesday...so ill have to find time to come see you before i start school.

Sorry about last night, Brooke was deprived as a child and never got to experiment the fun of dressing in black and going TP-ing, so she FORCED me to relive her loss childhood with her. Lucky for you she is cheap and would only bring a half of roll of toilet paper.
Maybe next time you will think twice before you leave early! It was fun getting together last night and I hope Lane got to bed without his lost pants.
