Last week we were able to attend 2 very fun Christmas parties. First was our ward Christmas party which was extremely "JOY"full! I have to hand it to our activities committee for always going above and beyond to make such wonderful activities for us to go to. We are not the best at always attending these functions, but since this last one we have repented and will make sure to attend always! For crying out loud, you know it's going to be good when you walk in and the foyer is decorated like this:
We love our ward and are grateful for the friendships we have made over the past 2 years!Last Sunday was the annual Udall cousin gift exchange. Sorry for the lack of pictures. I remembered my camera... but not the battery plugged into the wall at home. Thanks Marcie for yours! So maybe if some of you guys who attended would post about it ...then I could steal pictures off of your blogs (hint,hint).

Today Casey had to work so I decided to take Lane to the mall and see Santa. Do you think I let him sit on his lap after seeing the prices it would cost to let him do that? Plus stand in the 30 minute line? You bet your bottom dollar I DIDN'T! My gosh, they might as well rob you. Since Lane doesn't understand the concept, I just pushed the stroller up to the fence and let him look. Well Santa started to wave at him, then he got up, walked over to us, said hi and shook Lanes hand and gave him a book he was handing out to the other kids. Melt my heart! Lane loves Santa and I'm sure he loves him even more now. That sure beat the price of a $20 4x6 any day!

Oh good I'm glad Casey got use out of it to =) I hear ya on the expensive Santa pictures and it is really crappy quality. I wouldn't pay for it myself but I have a mom-in-law who enjoys taking the grandkids to get their pictures taken so she was nice to do that for us. Take Lane to the Bass Pro Shop, you can get a free picture with Santa. I want to take Ryker so maybe we can go in the next week. Looks like your ward party was amazing. We missed ours because Shaun had to work. Ok I'm typing way to much this is no longer a comment, more like a novel =)
how fun! I love christmas parties! We missed santa at our neighborhood pancake breakfast and so jesse had to take the girls to the mall to see him. He said he didn't want a picture but still had to wait in the 1 hour line! He said Santa was great though! We've never taken the girls to a mall santa before - I guess it's worth it. Who needs a pic anyway :) seriously, 20 bucks? are they crazy?

What a cutie patooti!! I'll bet he doesn't even remember me and will wonder why some strange girl won't stop hugging and kissing on him in just a week's time! So I guess Santa's love does have a price. Well, that's cool that he noticed the poor child whose mother won't shell out the big bucks to sit on his lap. Did Lane just have that longing look in his eyes? Ha, ha, no I don't blame you one bit. That is just too much money. Well, see ya soon!
20 bucks for a picture with Santa? That is ridiculous! Do they let you take one with your own camera? Okay, so I totally know your cousin Sara. She used to work with me at Fitness Works. Did she ever tell you that? I remember her asking me if I knew you cuz we have the same last name. I loved her! She was so fun! It was fun to see you guys at Brookes party even though we didn't get to talk. There were so many people there! You should have stayed for the game we played. It was so fun!
