HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our big 3 year old boy! He still has a hard time sticking 3 fingers up but we are getting there . Lane had a day of partying yesterday! Dad came home early from work with a box of donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast and to spend the day with us!
We picked up cousin Randon to play at the Field of Dreams baseball park...
then off to Red Robin for a birthday feast! Stephanie will probably kill me when she sees this picture. On our way to eat, Casey and I looked back to find that Lane had shared a pair of his beloved red "pants" with Rando and both were doing this...
We have some habits we need to break soon!
Lot's of birthday singing and treats, a must for little birthday boys.
Lane is obsessed with birthday cakes so I asked him what kind he wanted. With no hesitation he requested chocolate, that's my boy!. I was glad because I wanted to experiment a new recipe, Chocolate Upside Down cake... AMAZING!
We went family hopping that night so they all could see the birthday boy!

This year Casey and I got Lane a big boy bike! He was in love! I kind of had a hint on what to get him because every time we would go to Walmart, we had to go to the bike section so he could ride this bike around for 20 minutes! I hope now that he has the bike at home I can shave some time off my shopping trips!
We love our sweet boy to pieces and are so glad that he is a part of our family!
For an update on me, I had a doctors appointment yesterday as well. Apparently I am still just a ticking time bomb! I am still at a 4 but 80% effaced. Casey went with me to this appointment since he took the day off work. It was kind of funny having him there. When my doctor would ask me questions and I would answer back, Casey would butt in and exaggerate my answer so he would feel extra sorry for me in my misery. It kind of worked! Most likely I will have this baby before Thanksgiving! I guess November is our lucky month for birthday's!

Holy Cow...3 years old!!! He is such a cutie and I bet he will be the best big brother ever. I'm so excited for you guys. I think having 2 kids is the best. Well once again I better know when you are off to the hospital!!! Good Luck!!! love ya!!!

Shelley! Um so congrats on baby boy #2!! Thats so exciting I didn't even know you were pregnant...see what happens when I dont have you to style my hair anymore...and Lane is 3 now?! thats so crazy he is getting to be even more of a little stud! You're so cute pregnant too i hope i can pull off being cute pregnant someday when i have kids haha. I miss ya I was gonna come into the salon and have Heather cut my hair but im debating Its super long right now and I am scared to cut it! haha call or text me when you have that cute little boy! my new number is 480-262-3919 :)

I am thinking about you every day. I am wondering if it is "baby day" yet. I want to hold your new baby boy and gawk at how handsome your babies are...Lane looks so cute on that big boy bike! I love how he holds up three fingers, cute picture. He is obviously gonna be a good big brother if he is willing to share "pants". :)
ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? Rando is in big trouble now....the THUMB...aghhhhhhhhhh!!!!! hahahaha!! It's a little late to start that my son! Oh Laners....love him! What a sweet boy to share the beloved pants with Rando! Thanks for letting Randon play with Lane on his big day. He had a blast! I keep waiting for a text or phone call with baby stats :) Loves.
He looks like such a big boy on that bike...HOLY COW!! but then again, he IS a big boy!

I can't believe he's 3. I remember when he was a newbie like it was a few months ago! Crazy how time flies. Good luck with labor and delivery! Can't wait to see pics and I still don't even know what you're naming him but...YAY!
At least he's sharing right? We had to break Gage of his habit at that age too. There's this stuff called Kick the Habit by Hoof, I think. It worked wonders. We used some other stuff to stop nail biting and it wasn't effective like this. You are a ticking time bomb, and I can't wait to see this new little guy!! Good luck, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

Oh my gosh Shelley he looks even bigger than the last time I saw him!! I can't believe he is three... and I love how close him and Randon are they look so cute playing together. So before Thanksgivign huh?? craziness I'm excited! Maybe you'll have him when I'm home
That sounds familiar. I was at 4 cm & 90% effaced for about a week & 1/2 before my doctor had pity on me & the hospital had room for me and I got to go have her. I hope they aren't too busy to let you come in!! Can't wait to see the little man! :)
