Yesterday was a special day! Casey turned the big 28! Man, I never thought these days would come. 28, 29 then 30!! Aghh. It wasn't even my birthday and I am freaking out. We are supposed to stay young FOREVER! sigh. Non the less the boys and I made sure to spoil our favorite person as much as possible! It's pretty sad, Casey and I have never had bikes. I didn't want to get him one without his opinion so instead we got him a trailer for his soon to come beach cruiser!

That night Marcie came over so we could go to the White Chocolate Grill for dinner. I was looking forward to a night out with Casey, alone. We had figured out that the last time we went on a date with just the two of us was back in July for my birthday, pathetic!
Before we left we sang happy birthday so Marcie and Lane could eat the cake after their dinner. Poor guy, we made him blow out his candles 3 times so we could get a perfect picture!

getting a little appetizer before our meal:) Marcie said we looked like we were cutting into a wedding cake...

so we had to role play:)

I just love my birthday boy! He can always manage to make me laugh with his Casey personality. For instance we were getting a kick out of all the weird funny names on the internet that people name their dogs. Kotton and Kandy was one of them. I'm guessing they used K's instead of C's so that they wouldn't get mocked. Well we are not animal people so I jokingly asked what our dogs names would be and he said Twinkle and Star. I couldn't stop giggling for the longest time. The night before his birthday I asked him if he was starting to feel older and wiser. He said he couldn't get any wiser...typical answer! We hoped he felt special on his big day, he deeeserved it!

Aw, Happy Birthday Casey! Aren't we grateful he joined the family so our house could be remodeled and mom could have her "go to" man for projects! :) What a guy. And whatever the White Chocolate Grill is.... count me in! That sounds delish!
WOOP WOOP! Casey was born 28 years ago. wonderful. Your cake was bomb I'll be expecting one for my birthday so don't let me down!
Uh-oh...I can only imagine what you thought when we named our dogs Daisy & Duke! :)
Happy Birthday Casey!
Date nights are awesome.
SO, I am so glad you have a bike trailer now, we can start biking the canal with a trailer full of boys to burn some extra calories. Heck yes.
Did you redo your countertops...really or with the stuff we talked about? they look gorgeous.
Happy birthday Casey! Sounds like you had a great time. I've never heard of White Chocolate Grill. I'm loving the haircut, I can't believe you chopped it all off. You've been my inspiration since you'd had short hair for so long and had the patience to grow it out. I HATE mine right now, but am determined to get a few more inches and see how it goes. So I hear you guys have had TONS of snow in the mountains this year. What a fun trip. We had that crazy storm but it's already gone, which is amazing. My Dad said there were like 3 feet of snow though, crazy.
LOL! I love Casey!
