SNOW Much Fun!

Casey and I went snowboarding with 2 of my brothers yesterday. We wanted to catch all the good snow from the rain last week and what a perfect day it was! I never thought that 40 degrees could ever feel so warm but it was better than freezing our buns off. Jefferson did manage to lose my gloves off the ski lift on our first run but thanks to David and his skills for retrieving them. That made it only more funny when Jefferson decided to lose his own gloves off the lift our second run. Once again, David came to the rescue and we made sure our gloves were secure the rest of the trip!

David, you look like Willy Wonka

Casey was smokin', literally. You can kind of see it coming off his shoulders but he looked like a fog machine.

Enjoying my smoothie. I told you it was the toastiest 40 degrees I have ever felt.

I am praying for another week of rain so we can go back soon! Lane enjoyed his break from us and got to go on his own trip to St. David with Grammy, Papa and Valerie. He loves them so much...I wonder why?!

Super Saturday

Last Saturday my brother Craig got baptized. He is the youngest of the family so I keep telling my mom that they are empty nester's now:) After his baptism they had a lunch for everyone at their house. Here is the WHOLE family. It will be outdated though in 2 in half months when Stephanie has her baby. Only it will be hard to keep the picture updated when Christopher gets married and moves to Switzerland and Stephanie and Travis being in Buffalo.

An hour after the luncheon we changed gears and set up for Stephanie's baby shower. My mom sure knows how to party and we should just change Leah's name to Fraunk.

I'm Dreaming of a Rainy Christmas!

Waaa...it's already over! We had a wonderful Christmas yesterday full of excitement and perfect weather. Here are the pictures to explain how our day went!

In the morning we opened gifts with my parents and siblings.
Here is Lane (aka Mr. Spoiled) with some of his goods.

For the "grown ups" my parents do a money scavenger hunt.

Us with the findings. Dang you Stephanie and Travis who
won the bonus AGAIN

Our parents thought we needed to be more musically
talented so they got us ROCK BAND. We played ALL
STINKIN DAY. I love this game (even though I only
managed an average of 80% on the guitar and drums. I
attempted vocals once to Eye of the Tiger and let's just say I
left the singing to Marcie:)

Not pictured: the father's world famous biscuits and gravy (these mashed potatoes
are so creamy) and mexican dinner.
In the afternoon we made our way over to the Goodmans for more amazing fun
and more spoiling. Our mexican lunch of course was soo yummy too.

I forgot to take pictures over there so here is a group shot
of the week before at our progressive dinner night.

Here is Lane this morning with his prized present. He
HAD to eat breakfast with it.
Thanks to everyone who made Christmas so much fun!

Zoo/Rain Lights!

We were treated to a beary fun night at the zoo lights for FHE with Papa and Grammy. The rain couldn't stop us from having a good time... it actually made it more fun! The kids even got to ride in Papa and Grammy's car. Thanks for a fun night!

I know everyone is digging my sexy pancho!

Lindbloms like to party! + Lot's O Lights!

Sunday was the traditional Lindblom Christmas dinner plus share your talent night. Our mexican feast was delicious and the talents were great! Mom, we are all SO SAD you couldn't come because were weren't able to perform our Soldier Boy dance that you had planned on us doing since summer:( Maybe next year another teenage boy with no life will make up another dance for us to jam too :)

Last night we went to hear Valerie's choir concert at the temple lights. The weather was perfect...even though I thought the random sprinkles were going to turn into a down pour and any given minute.

Let's see how many times it takes for someone to take our picture without cutting Lanes head off.
There we go!

Christmas party-hardy time!

Last week we were able to attend 2 very fun Christmas parties. First was our ward Christmas party which was extremely "JOY"full! I have to hand it to our activities committee for always going above and beyond to make such wonderful activities for us to go to. We are not the best at always attending these functions, but since this last one we have repented and will make sure to attend always! For crying out loud, you know it's going to be good when you walk in and the foyer is decorated like this:

We love our ward and are grateful for the friendships we have made over the past 2 years!
Last Sunday was the annual Udall cousin gift exchange. Sorry for the lack of pictures. I remembered my camera... but not the battery plugged into the wall at home. Thanks Marcie for yours! So maybe if some of you guys who attended would post about it ...then I could steal pictures off of your blogs (hint, hint).

Sara had Lane this year and how did she know that he would love a bat and baseball?

Today Casey had to work so I decided to take Lane to the mall and see Santa. Do you think I let him sit on his lap after seeing the prices it would cost to let him do that? Plus stand in the 30 minute line? You bet your bottom dollar I DIDN'T! My gosh, they might as well rob you. Since Lane doesn't understand the concept, I just pushed the stroller up to the fence and let him look. Well Santa started to wave at him, then he got up, walked over to us, said hi and shook Lanes hand and gave him a book he was handing out to the other kids. Melt my heart! Lane loves Santa and I'm sure he loves him even more now. That sure beat the price of a $20 4x6 any day!
