Lane is a TEEN!

We are in the cool teenager phase now.
Lane turned 13!
It was a party year.
Two of his good friends have birthdays the same week.
I figured it would be fun to have friends over to hang out.
No presents, which he was fine with.
I didn't realize how many boys he is friends with!
I loved it though.
So grateful for a big boy group with GOOD kids for him to associate with.
These are all his friends from school.
Griffen and Keagan are in our neighborhood, too.

 Scouring for left overs.

I was gathering them for a group picture.
Instead they busted into a human pyramid!
Lets, move off of the concrete and onto the grass, haha.

The birthday boys.
Griffen, Quinn Phelps, Lane

Casey got out his flood lights for some football.
This is what teen boys dreams are made of.

On the morning of his real birthday!
He looooves pictures:)

Burger Fi for dinner.
One of his favorites.

Get it, girl!

A special birthday visit from Papa.
This was a big deal because as you can see, he was declining quickly.
He didn't leave the house much at his point,
but he wasn't not going to visit Lane.
It brings tears to my eyes, knowing just how much he loved Lane.

Fall Decor

I always forget how I decorated for each season.
I think Fall is my favorite at my house.
Just so cozy, and not quite cold yet!

TOFW with my BFF'S

The stars aligned for all of us to ditch ball tournaments, and other motherly duties to
escape to TOFW in Phoenix!

You must start a girls weekend shopping first.

Then eat.

Then walk around the streets of Phoenix hopelessly following
google maps in search of ice cream.

Then stay up allll night.

Then haul tush to make it in our seats the next morning.

Walking to our memorable lunch break with hoards of
other women.
All with the same grand idea to order ahead online.
Only, their website crashed and nothing was made.
I legit got yelled at for supposedly cutting.
Just doing what I was told, people.
That's when I gave up and would rather starve then fight against hangry, hyena like women.
"It's not worth it! It's just a sandwich!"
Ya, I think those words came loudly out of my mouth.
Not my proudest moment.
I'm sure TOFW left a great mark on those poor Pot Belly workers.

The first time hearing about the musically talented Bonner family.
They were amazing!

No use crying over spilled, or dropped, water bottle.

Halloween, 2019!

I feel like my Halloween pictures are getting
more sparse as the years go on!
They are so anxious to head out the door and run off with friends.

Our candy pile.
I feel like this grows more and more each year!

Lane was no where to be found.
The Bartons came to hang with us this year, so this is Rily behind the red eyes.

That is all I have, sad!
Mental note for next year, TAKE PICTURES!

State Fair

Why is it that going anywhere without kids is more fun?
Shh, don't tell mine I said that.
But it is TRUE!

We have this really great group of friends.
If we aren't traveling, we are at the State Fair living it up!

They are also great friends because they know how to EAT
like we do!

Of course you walk over to the corn dog truck the second after you walk in.
And yes, that is a brick of curly fries topped with nacho cheese.

You throw some rides in.

And squish 6 adults into a tiny ferris wheel!
It was comical.
We had tears rolling down our cheeks.
I was cramping and I thought for SURE it was going to tip mid air.
The looks we received were priceless.
We were a sight, but it was hilariously funny!

Murder Mystery Party

Our YW's presidency planned a board Murder Mystery party.
We were all recently called, so what a perfect way to bond
 with fake killing each other!
And our lucky spouses were invited, too.

It was a based off of the movie Grease.
Just different names.
Which was good, because I would have botched the whole thing if it
was a story line I didn't know!

I was in charge of decorating.
It was fun doing a 50's theme!

Bethany is the President.

 I'm 1st counselor

Casey is 2nd counselor

Live footage of the murder going down.

I was unaware that each group had to put together a hand jive!

It was worth it getting to see Casey dance:)

Not everyone could come, but we had a fun night!

Favorite Things, Lindblom style!

All of these faces are my cousins or cousin-in-laws.
Just on my Lindblom side.
What a blessing to have such great extended families.
And what a blessing it is that we try to keep in touch as much as possible!

I felt honored that most of them made the effort to come to my Favorite Things party!

My mom, Stephanie, and Marcie helped me with the food.
They all brought a dessert.

Then it was opening time!
What champs they were for squishing into my tiny living room.

I sure love each one of them!
