Bumbo with me:)

A few weeks ago I bought a bumbo chair for Rusty off of craigslist. Boy did he feel so big in it! The second I put him in he was all smiles. I couldn't choose which picture to post because they were all so stikin cute, so you get the pleasure of viewing them all:) Not only does he like to hang out in the bumbo but what a life savor that thing has been! Why I never got one when Lane was a baby I don't know but who ever invented those things is a pure genius!

He loves hanging out with his best bud. It's nice that I can put him on the floor while I am getting ready or making dinner and just glance over to make sure he is ok. So much nicer than me holding him on my hip all the day long.

I was doing laundry and I could hear Lane talking so a peeked around the corner and found him reading a book to Rusty... MELT MY HEART ALREADY!

Another fun thing that happened these past few weeks was that my brother Christopher who lives in Switzerland came to visit with his wife Jael and her parents Peter and Elizabeth! While they were here my parents hosted their wedding open house since they got married in Switzerland. They had it in my parents backyard March 27th and shame on me I didn't take any pictures. I promise it was beautiful and super yummy...of course! Since they were here my grandparents wanted a BIG family picture so down to the temple we went. I am considering these our family "Easter pictures". I slacked this year and no we are not matching and yes I am wearing winter colors. Now looking at these I really should have slathered some tanning lotion on at least my face. I didn't care, shame on me again.

posted picture twice, too lazy to take it off...oops

My mom played travel agent and planned a weeks worth of fun activities for the Heinegers to enjoy. One (windy) night we went out to the desert and rode quads. Jael's parents were so fun. I found them so interesting to be around. Maybe it was because they are from the other half of the world with a totally different life style then what I have been born and raised from. I loved sitting and chatting with them. Asking them the differences between our 2 very different worlds. Getting a kick out of the fact that they loaded up at Walmart on jello, peanut butter and cool aid because they don't have that where they live. I am pretty sure they think we are obese Americans and eat 24/7 and have major eating problems. I loved that the whole time while we were at the desert Peter, Jaels dad, walked up and down the trails for 2 hrs in search for a rattle snake so he could take a picture of it. Of course the only one he saw was when he was taking a turn on the quad and didn't have his camera with him. I wonder how out of place they must have felt in our loud crazy Mesa life but how sweet and generous they were to my whole family. They came LOADED with swiss chocolate and gifts for each one of us, including Lane and Rusty. I am so grateful for them and to know that they love and are taking good care of my brother since he can't be here with his family. I am humbled to know that there are truly amazing people all over the world.
