Big time catch up post

I don't know how this got started but
while playing outside one day we took some jumping pictures.
Lindi, she struggled to get some air. Hehe.
She would try so hard and this is about as high as she got.

Rusty had to take some of me, of course.

Only the wife of a construction worker can understand the excitement of
a rainy day. Not because the weather is so enjoyable, but  because
she gets a text from her hubby saying meet me for lunch, my work day is over!
Lindi loved her impromptu lunch date with daddy!

Grandmother had a birthday.
I can't even remember how old she turned, so sad!
But it was up in the 90's !!
That women just keeps on trekking.
Even though she is sad about turning another year on earth,
we on the other hand are so grateful she is still here with us!
All the grandchildren came over during the week with a flower to put in her
vases and a cut out heart with a note on it to tape all over her walls.

My parents took us to MONSTER JAM!
Look at Lanes fists all clinched tight.
Those boys loved every second of it!

Lets have a moment of silence for this next picture.
Lindi, who wasn't even sick, fell asleep on my lap!
This hasn't happened since she was probably 5 months old.
I was loving it.
She also has a pretty rad double chin.

This was a scene from a Saturday night.
Boys and their sports.

Mmm mmm. We love Nekter.
We had a lovely lunch, soaking in the sun out on the patio.
After we finished we hopped in the car and dropped Rusty off at preschool.
It wasn't 20 minutes later when I got a phone call from his teacher saying Rusty
had just thrown up all over the floor. When I went to get him his teachers said they weren't sure if he was truly sick because it didn't smell like your typical sick kid barf. They said it had a fruity, peanut butter smell, so gross! That would have been his peanut butter acai bowl.
I still took him home and he continued to barf all. night. long.

Luckily nobody else got it!

This girl.
She is ALL about accessorizing.
Even if its with her brothers underwear!

Marcie is so good to always buy my kids fun holiday treats.
I'm so glad she did because I sure didn't even think about getting
them anything for Valentines day:/

We went out with our good friends the Yamamoto's for Valentines Day.
After trying 2 different restaurants with astronomical  wait times we settled for Red Robin and Iceberg for dessert.
Here I am trying to be romantic and feed Casey some ice cream.
What do you know, he denies me:)

I really like our complementing plaid shirts.

Michelle and Aaron are definitely more festive in their pink!

2  heavy kids in a wheelbarrow wagon+ long canals= the best butt workout of your life!

When it gets really quiet I know where to look.
I am not used to having a climber child.
Drives me a little bonkers.
Every time I get to untangle lots of necklaces, clean up lotion off of the floor and  I still cant find the lid to my deodorant!
Time to buy some dress up clothes for her.

This is more for my family.
If Christopher, Stephanie or Marcie can guess who I was trying to mimic you get a prize!
hehehe

One of our favorite things to do is take In-N-Out burger to Grandmothers house for dinner and to play.
We try to go every other month. I was feeling a little bit of urgency to go over one Monday.
We had just gone over for her birthday but I love to visit her so I called and she said of course,
she would love our company! The kids got their thrill of drinking sprite from her glass goblets and
playing with her toys. I didn't think much of it until we got news the following week that Grandmother had pneumonia and was in the hospital. She had to stay a week and even after that they wouldn't let her go home alone so now she is living with my aunt and uncle. I was so grateful we were able to have what may be our last memory of eating dinner with her in her home!

Always making a mess this one.

First of all, you are BEAUTIFUL! I love Lane's clenched fists at Monster Jam. Ha ha. And oh, poor Grandmother! I love her. I can only imagine how hard it is to have to permanently leave your home to have others take care of you. :(

I'm finally on my computer! I always try to comment on my phone and I painstakingly type out the longest comments, then hit publish and the login screen for blogger pops up and my comment is erased and I don't have the energy to retype it!!
OK, Lindi's face.. bahahahaha!
Nekter- I blame you for my addiction. But oh, it's a sweet, sweet addiction.
I'm so bummed we missed Monster Trucks! Not even an invite. :( Looks really fun!
OK, past posts... Black Magic. That Pinewood Derby is the most amazing thing I've ever seen! Makes ours look like trailer trash! I can't even comprehend! Having clips of Fast and the Furious?! Hahaha! Go Vin Diesel.
