Birthday and a Birthday!

It was a birthday marathon once again!
Birthday parties stress me out.
Somehow Lane ended up getting another party after his big baptism
celebration last year (they get a big hoopla birthday party every 3 years).
I think it was because Rusty never got his party last year since it was Thanksgiving.
Then we went to Disneyland.
To make it so they both get parties on the same year I decided he could
have a party.
Aren't I nice?

He chose Top Golf.
Which was fine with me because I wouldn't have boys running wild in my house!
And I like their food:)

I love his group of buddies.
They have been friends since they were 4!
Well, except Randon. We've known him a bit longer!

She is my favorite cheeser.

I smuggled in a birthday cake in a beach bag.
I didn't know with it being a "fancier" facility if they would get upset about bringing
in outside food. I tried to pull it out when the waiters weren't paying attention.
After we sang happy birthday our waiter caught wind and asked if we needed some
forks. I said, nope we are good, and pulled our plastic ones out of the bag. He responded back
all upbeat saying WOW, you came prepared!
I told him my worry and he said, nope we get out plates and forks all the time for
people who bring their own birthday cakes.
Welp, now I know!

Oh the Pokémon epidemic!
He was pleased as could be about his new stash of cards!

6 days later, this boy turned 6!
His birthday presents aren't much of a surprise.
He gets the exact same gifts as Lane, lol!
If I try to get him something different, he whines that he wanted what Lane got.
It is almost like having twins.

This year they got new rip scooters (its a rip stick and a razor scooter in one)
and their own box of Pokémon cards.
The Pokémon cards were a big deal.
They have never had their own.
It's kind of crazy how they started from zero to having a stack of 100.
They got some from their friends, neighbor kids, you name it!
Finally they had some good quality ones worth trading!
I'll never understand the thrill of it.

Rusty wanted to go bowling at Fat Cats.
Easy enough!

from left to right:
Collin, Lily, Riley, Dallin, Weston, Rusty and Trey

After bowling we walked into the pizza shop attached to Fat Cats for dinner.
For $4 you can get a kids meal with a personal pizza, drink and a huge cookie!
I sorta forgot a birthday cake, yikes!
He never asked and I never brought it up!!
My easy going child...sometimes!
