I'll Never Get Used To This- July

We played HARD in July!!

I hate when school starts.

We aren't free to the late nights and late morning starts.
No set meals and eating random things all hours of the day.
Binge watching tv series- Sabrina the Teenage Witch was a hit!
Friends staying over all day.
Throwing last minute swim parties together.

It's my kind of life!!

Kid-chuterie, a Summer staple.
*Collect random things from the fridge and cupboards.
Cut them up into pieces and it magically makes that lone granola bar
nobody has touched seem so much more fun to eat!

Moana at the movies!

Coloring and puzzles were out constantly.
This tiny coffee table wasn't cutting it.
I finally got a folding table and it stayed planted smack dab in our
living room for a few weeks.

Rusty spent the week up at NAU for FSY!
Trey was his room mate.
Yes, again:)

The Bosen's drove them up and got them some last
"essentials" before bidding them farewell!

Poor Casey.
He had a rough week.
Bishop duties were the hardest they had ever been.
It takes a lot to rattle him.
This certain situation was a doozy.

He had a very long, 4 hour meeting late into the night.
The next morning I got a text at 5am saying he
accidentally put gas in his diesel tank.

He normally would have caught this, but his head was not in the right place.

Vehicle tow #3 for us in a 3 month span!

I was slated to pick up the boys from FSY early Saturday morning!
Where I ran into more car trouble on my way up to get them!
I can't say I'm not surprised.
And of course it was dumping rain on me the whole way there and back.

We have had some rotten luck with our vehicles lately!

It ended up being ok.
We were blessed to make it safely home!

It is a long story to recap.
Instead I will link it below.
Casey and I were asked to speak in Stake Conference a couple of months later.
HERE is the story that I included in my talk.

Stretching out the FSY high with breakfast burritos before going home.

We came home from swimming to find the power went out in the neighborhood.
It was hot!

They were getting desperate, and figured out laying on the cool tile helped.
I told them to just hop in the pool, silly's!

These girls were getting a little too comfortable... and lazy!
And in MY bed!

Slick City

Girls day at the lake!

It was time to FINALLY cash in the
Forrest Frank concert tickets they all got for Christmas!

They were PUMPED!
It was such a good show.

He sure has some bangers and we had a good time!

WE LOVE JESUS!

We couldn't get tickets all together, so a group had to be on the floor level.

Stephanie and Travis took the teens with them to the "mosh pit's"- I joke.

She snapped this picture of us.

Props to the men who came with us.
Casey knew a few of his songs.
My dad knew zilch.
Austin however, he was jamming the whole time!
Lol!!

Marcie prepared him well for this occasion!
