Christmas came!

We may have started a new tradition for our little family.
Christmas Eve Casey and I decided to take the kids to Cheesecake Factory for dinner.
We were unsure how it would go.
Crazy wild kids at a swamped crowded restaurant?
Or a good night out just with our little family.
Luckily it went the second version.
It was the most fun we have had together in a long time!!
We waited 10 minutes for our table.
The kids were so well behaved.
It was awesome for Casey and I to see and feel their excitement
for Christmas as we sat together in our little booth.
Plus they thought it was pretty rad that they each got to choose their own
flavor of cheesecake!
Lane chose s'mores.
FYI, superb. And I'm not a s'mores fan.
Rusty chose cookie dough.

Lindi enjoyed her puff's and bread crumbs:)

After dinner we made a few more last minute treat delivers then home for bed!
But first Lane wrote a note for Santa and we left him some cookies.
Translation: To Santa, there are some cookies and chocolate chips.

And what do you know, Santa came!!!!!!

Santa brought Rusty: Jake and the Neverland Pirate Legos, Lane: a nerf basketball hop game for his room, and Lindi: a baby doll that has a giggle that sounds just like hers!

Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpas!

I got my hands on Jeffy's hair:)

The whole gang together on Christmas!

We spent the afternoon at Grammy and Papa's.
Rusty was so excited to give to Kamryn in the cousin exchange.

and it's a bad picture but all of the grandkids got umbrellas with
 money hanging from ribbons!

It was a very Merry 2013 Christmas!!!

The days before Christmas

Another Christmas season has come and gone.
Christmas really is a magical time of the year.
It's a time where you get to stay up late and party after party with the ones you love.
Eat your most favorite foods.
Seeing the joy on your kids faces as they find yummy goodies that
have been left on your door step.
And envelopes in the mail that have familiar faces inside instead of papers
 that require money send back.
You get to watch treasured nostalgic movies like
The Grinch, Elf, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and my personal favorite,
While You Were Sleeping.

It is all sooooo good!

Lane had his school Winter sing at Mt. View

Rusty had his Christmas preschool program.

Casey set up the Christmas tree and before I knew it Lane had pulled out the
decoration bins and went to it, all by himself!
I left it decorated like that for about a day then re-did it:/

We added more lights on the house this year.
Poor Casey thought he about lost his life trying to get lights up in the tree.
The things men do to please their wives:)
He dreaded the take down all month.

Christmas cards started coming in.
The boys had a good rotation of who's turn it was to tape the card up on the wall.
I wish I had a picture of them all!

I loved getting these personalized ornaments for my tree.

We had a Lindblom Christmas party at my parents house with a hay ride!

Stephanie and Travis drove in that evening so the sisters were united again!
And apparently we all got the memo to wear black leggings:)

We also had the Udall family party at my parents house.
Gathered together to read Luke 2 and sing songs.

All the great grand kids with their presents from Grandma and Grandpa.

And one of my favorite pictures of Christmas.
Our ward Christmas party. With a plastic Santa.
Lane wasn't having it and Lindi wasn't so sure either.

The Goodman progressive dinner.
Casey reading a book to the kiddos.

My view on the couch next to him.

A line up of all the babes.
2 more are coming in February!

Papa and Grammy with all the grand kids.

Merry Christmas to ALL!!!!!!

mom, have you sent this out yet?:)

Thanksgiving weekend

We spent Thanksgiving day at the Goodman's.
We stuffed our faces with the delicious choices of a
traditional Thanksgiving menu or Mexican food!
Lindi enjoyed her first Thanksgiving meal thanks to Uncle Benny.
Ham and rolls are much tastier than a bottle and baby food!

Breanna took our family pictures.
I love how they turned out!!

The following day we went to see Frozen!
It was a great movie, so I heard.
Lindi and I enjoyed it out in the halls.
I think we missed our window of opportunity of taking babies to the movies with them
snoozing in their car seats.

After the movie I met up with my sister's and mom to spend the weekend in Scottsdale!
Travis was a gem and put the whole thing together for Stephanie who invited us to come with her.
We ate dinner at La Grande Orange.
It was all of our first times there.
It is was good, but we don't know what the huge hype is all about.
Our favorite was the chips and dips appetizer!!!

Then of course shopping at Scottsdale Mall on black Friday.

I was the picture problem child that night:/ :)

 and then, drum roll please.....
A nights stay at the Fairmont Princess resort.
Oo la la, it was fancy and awesome!!
Hot tubing that night and laying out by the pool the next morning.
I just wish I could have truly relaxed without having a
combined YW lesson I was supposed to teach the following
 day looming over my head.

And then upon our arrival home we played at the park for a couple of hours and ate Tia Rosas.

It was a wonderful turkey weekend!!!
