Mission Photo Shoot

I want to say I'll start with my favorite,
but they ALL turned out SO good!

It's not fair he is so photogenic.
Of course I will say he is the most handsome soon-to-be missionary:)

Kendyl is the BEST.

My heart stopped when she said to hop in a picture.
I had zero makeup on and was drowning in my own sweat.

She said you will be happy to have this, and she was so right.
A captured moment of just the two of us.

There were many- just the two of us -as he is the oldest.
He was my buddy for 3 years until Rusty came along.
He paved the way for the others.

Who could have ever thought he would grow up and leave me?!

A couple of weeks later we managed to figure out a 30 minute window
to get a few pictures with his friend group who will also be serving missions!

These boys are just amazing.

Friends are everything in your child's life.
They make them or break them.
They were solid all through high school and were such a blessing
to all of us!

The Xalapa boys!

Of course with a back flip pic!

Temple Day for Lane

It's a surreal moment to have a child
go through the temple!

We are proud of them no matter what, but it comforts you to know
they are making great decisions in life.

I know the temple will be a blessing to him, and his future family one day!

So much family came to support him than weren't  in this picture.
He is has some big cheerleaders!

Grandma paparazzi!

Stephanie and I still toting our handmade temple bags that aunt Kathleen made
us as our bridal shower gifts!

I can't believe how white they still are after 22 years!

One of my favorite gifts I have ever received.

Family Pictures at Our Happy Place

I'll just restate what I said on Instagram:

Thin Places.
I know Heavenly Father creates these moments on lake docks to cherish forever.
Mostly in tender mamas hearts, I'm sure.
Time is ticking before this "era" of all being together ends, for a stint.
I can only be grateful that grand things are on the horizon.
I wouldn't want it any other way.

Summer, Girls Camp, and more things Lane!

I got myself a new chauffeur just in time for Summer!
Rusty behind the wheel with his permit!

My favorite kind of money;)

Time to bust out the popsicles!
We love having cousins over to swim with us!

Why does it melt my heart to watch Rusty play with babies?

Lindi had her first year of girls camp!
It was kind of an unorthodox camp because it was our first year
with Quest for the older kids.

The stake put together something for the 11-13 year olds.
Who wouldn't love staying in town at an awesome Airbnb?!

It was 5 minutes away.
Those leaders scored this year, lol!

First was doing baptisms at the temple.

Then off to the house for a couple of nights!

Not bad of a swimming hole!

She conked out the second she got home and showered.
A succesful first girls camp!

The girls had their end of the year showcase.

I saw the pictures they took in the Fall on the website by luck!

Lane met up with his group of friends for a couple of days in
Newport for his senior trip.

And was set apart as an Elder!
