Paradise!
It was a snowboarders paradise up at Sunrise Mountain yesterday! You can't beat 12 inches of fresh powder courtesy of all the great rain we had on Sunday. It had been 3 years since both of us had been, so we figured it was time to dust off the boards and head up. You know it's a good day when you find 20 bucks you had put in your pocket 3 yrs ago. I loved being with Casey all day it was like we were dating again. We have never laughed so hard in our lives. We are definitely not letting 3 years go by again without going!

I was so bummed all day yesterday as I was taking care of my sick hubby with the flu! I had everything ready and was so looking forward to going! Trav felt like he got run over by a truck and couldn't do anything! I felt so bad for him! I'm glad you guys didn't get any of the rain! So.. you guys think you'd be up for another day??

How fun!! I didn't even know you were going to go!! Couples sure do need their time away together. I haven't been snowboarding in years either and your right for some reason I laugh the whole way down the hill as well. I remember laughing so hard I couldn't even get up for like 10 mins. I bet your sore today, snowboarding is such a workout!! =)

I'm so jealous! I went skiing for the first time last year and it was awesome. I'm so sad I can't go this year. Oh ya, I forgot to tell you we pretty much copied your Christmas card for the birth announcement if you didn't already notice.:) Thanks for the idea!
Yeah, I finally buckled under pressure and got a blog. I haven't posted much though because telling stories about work and school aren't that exciting. But it will be fun when we move away (wherever that is!)

you guys are too cute...and lucky! I love the $20 in the pocket. Mine's usually a $5 but I guess any newly discovered money is a good thing! At least when you're done boarding you get to go back home where there's no more snow. I wonder if spring will ever come up here!
P.S. I don't think it's fair that you can be out in the wilderness all bundled up in a coat in the snow and still manage to look like you walked off of a toothpaste and/or chapstick commercial. You're just too darn cute. :)

We missed you guys yesterday!! Fun times for sure! We actually decieded to go to Snowbowl, and found out later that day that Sunrise was closed! We got lucky! We'd be up for a Saturday for sure!!
hey shelley- do you have an opening on friday to cut taylin's hair?? NO PRESSURE AND DON'T STRESS TO FIT HER IN!!! Just curious. I was going to try to time it so I could get my eye brows waxed for the chick there too. Just let me know what you'er thinking...
No I havn't called down there to Tantrums yet- I wanted to make sure you could do Tay's hair first and THEN i'd try to work in a wax then. You think that could work?? SO YOU CAN CUT HER HAIR ON FRIDAY??! YIPPEEE!! Her hair is soooo nappy- she is highlights on top with like 5 inch re-growth and then she has her nappy short bangs. OHHH she looks like an orphan shelley. I really just want a lot of the bleach hair GONE.

So uhh...honestly, what if we squose Brody in for a hair cut too with Taylin? Be honest and let me know you're timing. Do you think I should grow his hair out or cut it cute short style? this is a big decision ya know...
then why isn't lane's long?? then should maybe you just shape it up to prep it to grow it long?he's a total muffin top right now. he looks like the biggest goofball. okay just let me know about fri! otherwise- tell me the day and time and we'll be over!!
