ChRisTmAs DaY... Hip Hip HoOrAy!

What a lovely Christmas day we had! This year Lane was very understanding of the whole Santa Clause thing, which meant we had to buy a few presents for underneath our tree. Lately Lane has been sleeping in till about nine, nine thirty. Since we needed to be out the door and to my parents at 8, he had to be woken up a bit early then normal. We opened his door so he could hear some noise...wasn't working so well. From the living room we start yelling " Lane, time to wake up". Nothing. " Time to go to Mema and Pepa's". Nothing. "I see some presents under the tree, did Santa come". Out of the quietness of his room we hear (in his deep Lane voice) HUH. Yep, did the trick! It took a whole 5 minutes for him to open the 3 gifts we bought him, then it was off to our parents!

My mom is very creative. Instead of our usual scavenger hunt for the adult gifts, she made up a question answer game to win our Christmas money this year.

Stephanie and Travis are trying to keep us up with the East coast. They are hooked on this game called Kan Jam so they got it for my parents.

Aunt Sunni let Rusty borrow one of Gunner's Christmas outfit's. He looks really cute in it and totally lives up to the saying's that were all over it. You can't see them but on the front it said Silent Night? and on the back ,Up All Night! We are getting better though:)

We had fun over at the Goodman's too!

Stephanie and Bryant gave to us this year. Casey loving his new work gloves and me excited about the fact that his dry callist hands won't be scratching me anymore! Grammy and Papa also got some fun new things for their backyard.

We are so fortunate to have all our family close by. I know I take that for granted sometimes but we truly feel blessed to be apart of such wonderful families!
