Well I have posted about all our fun Christmas activities but left out what was going on; on the off days! It was nice seeing friends and family that were in town. I got to spend time with these gals whom I have known pretty much my whole life (starting in 7th grade). Jessica lives in Pittsburgh while her husband is in dental school and of course my sis Stephanie came to visit for 22 days! I love these girls to death and have so many fun, crazy, weird memories with them. Some that defiantly need to stay locked up. I look back and think "did we actually do that". No really, I could do a whole post on just that. It is crazy to think that we are all moms now and hopefully have matured out of our wild days. I am sure when our kids are teenagers we will sit and think "where did we go wrong".
I LOVED spending time with my mom and sisters. Marcie is back from EA so it was nice having all the girl power back under one roof again! We went to lunch at Crackers and stayed till closing hours, just chatting away.
Lane was happy to have Collin here. He gets sad every time he asks to see him and I have to tell
him Collin had to go home. Then it leads into the usuall,
Lane: why?
Me: Because he lives where it snows far away on an airplane.
Lane: Airplane? Tollin go on airplane?
Me: Yes.
Lane: Lane go on airplane?
Me: No. Lane not go on airplane till he's 10 and old enough to appreciate the vacation we are about to partake of.
Lane: huh?
Me: ya, that's what I thought
It was crazy to see how much he had grown since our CA vacation this past summer. Pretty soon he will be running around with Lane, peeing in my parents backyard.

Going to see the SQUEAKUEL was a MUST! Defiantly buying that one when it comes out on dvd! Casey missed the family outing due to higher priority activities (go suns). My dad filled his shoes pretty well.
I only have one picture of this but Fairview Cir. made it's annual trip out to the desert for quad riding and socializing. My parents have the best neighbors.

This past Sunday we blessed our Rusty boy! I can't believe he is already six weeks old. I cry every time I think about how fast he is growing up. It was a wonderful yet busy day. We are so thankful for all our family members who came to show their love and support to our sweet boy!

Lane also had a very big day graduating from nursery to SUNBEAMS! He did great. When I went to pick him up from his class room he was all smiles and couldn't wait to tell me all about it. He showed me his crown and said "look mom, I'm Cinderella". Let's not say that too loud now son.

That evening we had a get-together at my parents in honor of Rusty. We had scrumptious cobblers, texas sheet cake, homemade ice cream and hot chocolate. Of course we also had some intense Kan Jam competitions going on. I even think our family is going pro with it:)

We are so thankful for our little Rusteeze. He truly makes me the happiest mom. He has been a trooper being put on the back burner through all of the craziness that the holidays can bring. What a blessing it is to have him in our home.
.
It really has been an eventful past few weeks ...but well worth it! There is nothing better than being with the people you love most. Before I know it, Christmas will be rounding the corner once again. I better go take a nap!

Thanks for sharing!!! I love when everyone post about their day to day fun. I must say I have the 3 hottest cousins. You, Steph and Marcie are hot to trot!!!!! Love all of you to death =)
ps Ryker ask me at least once or twice a day if he can go ride Lanes BIG RED BIKE. So I might have to invite myself over to your parents to let him ride around on that again =)
Love this post! Too much to comment on. First, that conversation with Lane was hilarious! Tollin go on airplane? Lane go on airplane? Haha. Ya, too bad we can never use an airplane ride as a reward/exciting thing for our kids. I'm so glad you liked the Squeakquel. I was way too excited for that one. Thanks for having Rusteeze blessing day while we were in town. Which reminds me!!! I need to email you what I wrote down.... but first I need to find the program I wrote it on. Crap. I don't remember packing it. Um, I'll have to check with mom to see if it's at home. It was so fun to be home and hang out with you. I think we need to make Crackers a tradition whenever we're together :)
Can you photoshop the pic. of the 4 of us and take off some of my booty...okay...alot of it. :) I often think about the younger immature versions of us and just laugh. Good times~ We are/were awesomE! I love the conversation with Lane. especially the part where you told him that he wouldn't appreciate the vacay until he is 10...chuckle. The Lindblom 3 are SUPER HOT! Seriously, you had a baby 6 weeks ago. Turn it down a notch. Cute shoes.
You need to record every sinle conversation you have with Lane! He is so funny, seriously every word that comes out of his mouth makes me laugh. And everytime I think of him peeing in the front yard Christmas morning I lose it haha I'm so glad we have Laners!
So sweet! I am in love an SO EXCITED to meet him. You look amazing, by the way.
