Shinning Star preschool is proud to present the class of 2014-15 in their
Christmas Spectacular!!
(it was the exact same performance as last year, but oh how special they feel while they are
up there)
Shake those bells like what ya mama gave ya!
My only child not afraid of Santa Clause
Rusty with his best friend, Evelyn!
Lane had his Winter concert.
Always on the top row, that tall boy!
Grandma is always so good to come and support!
Christopher and Jael came from Utah for Christmas!
We had a great lunch at Ned's.
It just hits the spot sometimes. I swear their rootbeer is the
best on the planet!
When we went out to the car we found the passenger tire flat!
Thank goodness I had Christopher with me or else I would have been in a real
pickle! He called Jael who had an air pump in their car. He aired it enough for me to head to
Gunnels to get it fixed.
While Lindi and I waited he took the boys to play at the park for the afternoon.
He is such a fun uncle!
Lindi got a kick out of Frosty the tireman:)
Super last minute I decided to go see the lights down at the temple.
We must live in Arizona if Lane is kicking it in shorts. Really we didn't
even need jackets but its just part of the tradition. Walking around feeling all bundled up. A huge difference than those poor peeps in Salt Lake with chattering teeth in 10 degree weather!
Shoot, we even hit up DQ for blizzards afterwards!
Hot chocolate smocholate.
Miss Lindi got a hold of the chocolate covered peppermint Joe Joe's while
I was trying to get a flower arrangement made.
They really are that good though! My mouth looks the same.
Actually more like my teeth, dang braces.
Ward Christmas party.
We had a waffle breakfast with other stations in different classrooms
for the kids to rotate to. This one they decorated sugar cookies and got to sit on
Santa's lap!
We had to drag Lane over for the group picture.
He high tailed it out of there the second we took the picture.
Lindi obviously liked old Jolly St. Nick!
This is her nursery teacher. She was fine until she sat down then
arched back and kicking took over!
Thanks Rusty for being our cooperative child!
Christmas Eve we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with the Holmes!
After stuffing our faces with dinner and 5 cheesecakes for dessert we were
surprised when our waitress carried over our bill and said an anonymous person put
$100 towards our bill! Utter shock and gratitude took over!
Such a great Christmas surprise.
People are so nice.
We went home to tuck little children into their beds for sugar plums to start
dancing in their heads! But wait, no cookies for Santa?
How about some chocolate Cheerios, M&M's, nuts, and pretzels!
Santa's stomach needs a variety:)
And Lanes note... my favorite.

I love Santa's snacks. Ha ha. Ours were totally a last-minute thought too. :) I love the stranger who put $100 towards your bill. SO nice!!! And I totally forgot about the root beer at Ned's! I'm not even a soda person, but I may just have to go back there for that root beer. It is YUMMY.
