These girls are my peeps.
Life long (I count age 12 as life long:) friends!
The last time we have gone on vacation was when we were in College!
We have done Scottsdale overnighters, but out of town is way more fun.
We were able to escape to UT for a spa retreat!
Airport chillin'.
There may or may not have been some exchanged words on the plane with a grumpy,
nosy lady over you guessed it... masks.
nosy lady over you guessed it... masks.
So completely over the whole corona/mask debacle.
After getting the rental car our first mission was FOOD!
Stephanie was our food guide and had a list of places she researched that
were a must try!
When in UT this blogger said Chungas's was at the top.
You don't have to sell us twice on tacos, we were off!
We pulled up to a place much like Filabertos and an empty parking lot.
With raised eye brows each of us asked, are you sure you typed in the right address?

We were in the right place!
We were pleasantly surprised!
Chungas was a WIN!
Super fresh ingredients and probably some of the best guacamole I've ever had.
Just proves the saying, never judge a book by its cover!
With full bellies we drove to the Double Tree to check in and stuff our faces
with their delicious welcome cookies.
with their delicious welcome cookies.
The plan was to dump the luggage and head out shopping.
A few hours later we still found ourselves chatting away and in no hurry to get up.
I brought slippers for everyone.
I got them out, might as well be comfy while catching up on life!

Our dinner reservation at 8 came so we mustered up the energy to eat some more, lol!
HSL was super swanky and a fun place to eat!

Much to our surprise it snowed while we were eating!
It was a very cold walk back to the car!
Somehow we still had more things to talk about and chatted into the wee hours of the morning.
We made it to hot yoga on time at PURIFY WELLNESS CENTER, the main reason for picking
Utah to visit.
It was hot, sweaty, and oh so good!
We were scheduled the rest of the day with massages, light therapies, energy mapping and
a sit in the salt cave.
Unlike the day before, we left famished and ready for some Red Iguana!
Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant.
See my happy face?!
Good thing they had mini sizes at Nelsons.
I couldn't decide flavors.
Solution, get both!!
We had to drop Jenni off at the airport late that night.
Sad she had to leave early.
We took our time waking up and packing our things.
Stephanie scouted out a good brunch place, Roots Kitchen, about 15 minutes away.

We were able to call ahead and put our name down.
While we waited we did our only shopping of the trip, at Smiths!
I needed to get some Grandma Sycamore bread to bring home to the kids.
They also had a decent clothes section.
Some good grub!
We drove to some other bakeries to get some goodies to bring home.
Then it was time to head back to the airport.
I walked in the door and not 15 minutes later Della barfed all over the floor.
Welcome home!
