We did 3 sessions.
Which kept us at Ms. Kim's from the beginning
swan peeking through the window, ha.
She mastered every stroke, and in fact, wowed most parents on her butterfly.
I get to sit on my chair and not have to get in with them, or strap floaties on them.
I am arriving in life, no more babies/toddlers in our family.
We had a swim date with my high school friends and their kids!
We missed LaRee.
Stephanie and I arranged to trade kids while we each went on a kid-less vacation!
They went to Austin, TX.
While I had her kids, I loaded them all into my burb to swim at my parents.
On the way there, I saw lights flashing behind me.
I yelled, does everyone have on a seatbelt?!!
There was a flurry in the car wondering what the heck I had done wrong, ha!
Welp, lucky for me, it was Uncle Austin pulling a prank on me, AGAIN!
He sure likes to give me mini heart attacks!
My dads sent us home with the yummiest, sweet Summer corn.
Thanks, Grandpa!
They LOVE swimming with their cousins.
I guess we did other things besides swim.
Time to bust out the table and puzzles!
Or check yourself into the ER, ugh!
Long story short, I thought I had a blood clot.
Remember when I had that hematoma on my foot?
A few weeks later I had the WORST pain in my right chest area.
It would not subside or go away, and felt so different than any other pain I have ever had.
I googled it and I had EVERY symptom of a blood clot.
I decided to text my friend, Janae, who is in the "medical field" and
whose opinion I would trust.
I told her what was going on.
She asked a few questions and said since I had that hematoma, it sounded like
it could be a blood clot.
Since those are very dangerous, she recommended I go get it checked out sooner than later.
Blast nabit.
It was late.
I had all of the Evans kids over.
And who wants to spend money at the ER?
I also didn't want to die, so off I went.
Crossing my fingers it wouldn't take very long.
The place was packed.
I was getting worried because Casey needed to leave for work at 5am.
It was 2am and I was still hanging out in the waiting room.
Somehow, someway,
After bloodwork, heart echo, XRAY's, and listening to a psychotic man in the room next to me
yell at the nurses and doctors for hours, I was cleared to go home.
I got home and literally high fived Casey as he was walking out the door for work.
I guess I pulled a deep, internal muscle in my chest.
Probably at Lake Powell.
So, I live on!!
Just a little poorer:)
Dang deductibles.
