Halloween

I think Della dressed up about 10 different times for all the occasions.

Here she is at dance class.

We were walking out the door to head to the Figueroa's house for their

annual Halloween bash when I noticed Casey didn't have a costume.

Not 5 minutes later he was transformed and ready to party!

Maybe next year we will put more effort into costumes like Stephanie and Travis!

Halloween was on a Sunday this year.
Which led to the heated question everyone kept asking... are you going to let your
kids trick or treat ON Halloween?? 
Sounds so scandalous. 

To help the Sunday situation, a couple of wards combined for a trunk or
treat the night before Halloween.

We had "ghost soup" (white chicken chili)
 in pumpkin bowls for dinner Halloween night. 

And sat with the neighbors to pass out candy.

We did not let the kids trick or treat, but we did let them go down to the haunted house,
reverently, of course!

I thought this might be the year the girls would be brave enough to go through!

Nope. Chickened out at the last minute. 

We took pictures while we waited for them to be done.
