Della turned 5!
The last time I will have a 5 year old.
I find myself saying that frequently with every "lasts" since she is my baby!

Time is a crazy thing.
But I'll be honest, I love watching them grow and us moving out of the toddler
phase is kind of exhilarating!

So much more we can do as a family and everyone capable of keeping up.
Plus, I can run errands and have Lindi babysit. Life. Changing.
This year is an on year for birthday parties.

I took advantage of her being home during the afternoon and planned it while
everyone else was at school.
Which meant she invited her preschool friends and some cousins
who are also still at home during the day.

Lucky for Della, the morning of her party she had a field trip at Mother Natures Farm!
We party prepped before we left.
She picked a MERMAID party.
Her cake turned out DARLING!
Walmart for the win!
Her preschool class
This may be the fattest pig I've ever seen!
Made sense, Thanksgiving was around the corner.
Sorry, Wilbur!
We left a little early so we could grab pizza before everyone started to arrive.
All of her friends.
Kinsley, Dean, Joe, Brad, Della, Landon, Tanner, Scarlett.
They colored while they ate lunch.
Played pin the tail on the mermaid.
I locked them in the backyard for freeze tag while I cleaned up and put together the next game.
Funny how after 30 seconds everyone needs a drink or has to pee!
Bean bag toss
Spoiled with lots of gifts.
We sang to the birthday girl!
The next day was her actual birthday.
She had dance class!
Here she is blushing while they sang Happy Birthday to her.
Birthday pictures in her cute new outfit from Tanner
She picked QT for her bday lunch
And had lots of visitors wishing her a happy birthday!
We went to Applebees for her dinner and invited Grammy to go with us.
Bummer I don't have a picture of that.
And she got a new trick scooter!!
