Lets Go Girls

We planned a girls trip to Vegas to see Shania Twain!
All of our houses are in the same corner.
It was about time we vacationed together!

We drove in Friday afternoon, dropped our bags and got ready for a night on the town!
Dinner was at Nacho Daddy.
A menu full of nacho options, genius.

We walked down to the Venetian to see Derek Houghs show.
It blew us out of the water.
It was SO good and entertaining.

It was non stop dancing for 2 hours.
Such talent.
We were clapping and screaming the whole time!

We stopped at the Ghirardelli store for dessert.

Since dancing was still in our system, some of us decided to try to find a,
mormon moms just want to have fun, type of dance club while the rest went back to the room.
Ha, should have known it would be tricky to find.
Dancing to techno is not really possible.
We think its a subliminal way to get people to drink more, lol.
We struck out, so the Bellagio fountains it was.

Saturday was a do what you want kind of day.
Love that this group is easy going and there was no pressure to branch
away and do your own thing for a bit.
We all started out by the pool, then split off from there.

Miche was cracking me up.
She found a corner in the pool and sat there for over an hour, just minding her own business.

I had booked a massage so I spent the rest of the day in the spa with Bethany.
The others went shopping or slept by the pool.

We all got ready and went to dinner together.
The Sugar Factory was adorable!
Never have I seen a restaurant so bright and blinging.
Their specialty were these giant drinks.
The food was good, too!

Show time!!

It was a blast jamming to her old tunes.
She still has an amazing voice after all of these years.

Her backup dancers... pretty comical.
I felt like the production was kind of an afterthought.
Very cheesy and predictable dancing.
For a few moments we thought we were at a Chip N Dales show.
I guess when you are that famous you could have 50 year old men
be your dancers and people would still come!

Miche said riding the NY NY rollercoaster was on her bucket list.
It was our last night so we made that happen!
Riding a rollercoaster at midnight with slap happy girls makes for a fun adventure.
We were crying laughing and being pretty silly, fitting in well with the surrounding night life.

In the morning we listened to church through zoom and packed up.
I introduced them to the Wynn buffet before starting our drive home.

It was a perfect girls weekend!
