We were undecided on what to do for Spring Break.
The weather was all over the place with heat and rain intermixed.
We originally wanted to go to the dunes, but were still unsure on if it would be too hot.
Lucky us the weather shifted so we jumped on it!
We loaded up in the rain and arrived in the Yuma sand right as the last rain
cloud swooped away for good.
cloud swooped away for good.
It left us with some dreamy landscape to stare at.
I say this often, but the dunes really are beautiful!
Lane stayed behind in hopes that his baseball game wouldn't get canceled and would
come up with my dad the next morning.
Which was just fine with Rusty because that meant he got to park the
trailer and drive the truck!
trailer and drive the truck!
Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day!
The whole trip was loaded with games, food, AMAZING weather and
of course, riding!
We are hitting a new stage where everyone is old enough to participate
on rides, even the long ones!
If they aren't in a RZR, they are riding their own quads.
It was so fun!!
Being the ONLY people at the dunes is a rarity.
We must be off schedule with CA and all the AZ peeps were scared of
being too hot.
Which meant kids could run freely up hills without getting run over!
Still can't get over that Lane is old enough and capable of riding
like the big boys. So is Rusty, but he is more cautious.
It is funny to see the differences in those 2.
It is funny to see the differences in those 2.
My mama heart has some anxiety over it at times.
But love that the are learning at a young age and gaining confidence
in riding like pros!
The girls did amazing on their quads as well!
The sky was crystal clear!
Anytime we took breaks on rides the shoes came off and up the hills they flew!
They played drive-thru orders for hours in that window!
Ate like kings!
Morning stretch sessions were fun to watch.
Dirt bikes are serious business!
It was a perfect Spring Break!
