We had so much fun celebrating the 4th yesterday. We started off by having brunch with the Goodmans then going to the park for a game of water softball. I guess it has been a while since I have played because today I am fairly sore and I think I bruised a rib sliding into home base. I guess I am getting old! We had a lot of fun... maybe this will be a start of a new tradition?! We then took Lane (and Casey) home for a much needed 2 hour nap then headed over to my parents for swimming and a BBQ.

All those pics look like fun. And yes, I think everyone should have been nervous about me directing traffic! Luckily all I really did was wave a flashlight around. And yes, you better come see the pageant sometime in the next four years!

Okay tomorrow will be so much fun. Plan on bringing Lane over and he can play with the kids. I'm hoping Tiffany will be up for coming over tomorrow. I'll let you know for sure by tonight who I find.
