WHERE DID MY LITTLE BABY GO?
Yesterday my little Laners turned the big 02... I can't even believe it! We had to do a little celebrating so on Monday night we took him to Amazing Jake's. Since the State Fair was a hit for him we figured it would kind of be the same thing, and boy was it! The kid wouldn't even sit down to eat so Casey and I had to eat by ourselves so the other one could go play with him.
Then last night to keep it simple we had a few family members over for some birthday treats. Since Lane doesn't have a favorite cake I made mine, yellow cake with lot's of home made chocolate frosting and Casey made his yummy peach and cashew ice cream. Lane got some fun gifts from everyone. Lane has been HARDCORE into basketball lately, he will actually sit and watch an NBA game hardcore. So Case and I got him a basketball hoop...I think it is a keeper!

Side note: Who watched Biggest Loser last night? WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING AMY! that's all :)

Ashlyn is saddest of all that Lane didn't have a party...she is STILL asking "when is Lane's birthday party Mom?" I need to know if Rando likes that basketball hoop... I need a Christmas idea :) Oh yah, and what WAS Amy thinking? See you tomorrow! I guess you will be first to know what we are having since you will have Randon!!
Oh such a fun day!!! We have never been to Amazing Jakes I think that would be fun. =) A basketball hoop is a great idea, where did you get that one?? Well we are excited for Friday!!!!

Awww! He is so cute, but I always say that. Weird that he's two. So no one's asked, but when is the baby brother/sister coming along? This kid looks like he needs a friend to shoot hoops with!

Happy birthday Laners! We were all thinking about you bud! Time sure flies, they stay little for such a short time! I was also laughing at your last post! He's definitely doing the curious 2 year old things! Congrats on no more work! Enjoy it!! Even though we never get together, we really should! Especially after our little man arrives, I'm sure I'll be going stir crazy!

I will feel so bad if you end up sick/ I was going to call and warn you and forgot to text you today. My stomach ache started at the reception, but I get stomach aches often so didn't think anything of it. When I got home that is when it hit!!!!! So for me it was a 24 hr thing but Amelia still has it, poor girl. Ok let me know if you start to feel it and I will do whatever I can to help you!!!! =) Leah
Time has flown by. He is such a stud. So, random question and it may seem easy, but how did you get his little infant pictures onto your blog w/out them looking funny? Ours wouldn't scan well. Happy Thanksgiving.
