Thanks to this cute family:

we had a fun get away this past weekend up to the Martins cabin in
Pinetop! Thanks again guys for an awesome time of good laughs, food and company! The Marler and Willis families were there as well and we enjoyed getting to know them and their kids better too.

Poor
Taylin's sledding experience left her with some bragging rights,

so I made Casey go first on the sled to make sure it was safe. Notice that there are no more pictures of us on a sled:)

The kids had fun on the playground,

until one did a back flip and then
face planted straight in the mud.

I had to document the few times I get a snuggle from this kid

Yummy
smores! Roast and throw in the fire was Lanes version.

Go to
Brooke's blog for way more pictures, she was the official photographer! I am so grateful for such amazing friends. Our life would be boring without them.

Poor kiddos with the face scrapes! But it looks like the good outdid the bad! I want to visit the snow!
We made the TOP PICTURE???! SHEEESH!!! I feel famous!! Okay seeeriously...I'm still dreaming about our fun weekend. I SO wish we were still there right now. SO GLAD YOU GUYS MADE IT UP!!
I'm making my soup RIGHT NOW- you know it feeds an army so get your buns over here with an empty container and I'll fill it for you while it's fresh and hot!!
Thanks again for partying with us!!!
Why is it that you are up in the mountains and still look so cute! Not fair!
So Fun!! I'm way jealous. I wanted to take Ryker to the snow and it never worked out. Then of course this weekend would have been perfect but I'll be gone. Oh well. Ok sad, I want to come to a Valentines party. Besides Christmas this is my FAVORITE holiday. Next year I would love to plan a fun party. =)
So much fun. Don't you love that we can drive just a few hours and be in snow. Its the best. I love all the pictures.. so cute!
You are too cute! That sounds so fun! I'm planning a vacay right now!
What a blast. I want to go play in the snow. Even though we live in it, it's not the same as "visiting" it in AZ. Looks like you've got a fun group of friends, are they in your ward?
