We were some lucky duckies this week. Grammy and Papa treated us to a trip to Disneyland! We left after church on Sunday then spent 2 fun filled days at the happiest place on earth. It is a good thing Rusty and Lane have such nice grandparents because if it was up left to us, they wouldn't have seen that place for a good 5 more years!
I don't get sick on rides but holy hanna this ride is motion sick city!
(maybe it was because I was turned backwards taking pictures?)
The kids loved spending time with aunt Val!
Thanks lady for the 1,2,3 say cheese warning
Lane was fearless. Half the time I felt like he was going to go flying off the rides. Hence why
my hands are not up in the air in below pic. I was holding onto Lanes arm for dear life!
He also wanted nothing to do with us. Just wanted to hang out with his Papa.
At dinner an amazing balloon guy came around and made all of these for the kids. They were in heaven.
On the Jungle Cruise. The boat drivers always crack me up. You could tell ours was almost done with a looong night shift:)
Story time: We were in line at the Tower of Terror, which happens to be my favorite ride. We were the last group in line waiting to board the ride with a couple right behind us. I look behind only to see Alexis and her husband Jim from the Real Housewives of Orange County! I peed my pants and was in disbelief. I love that show! I caught my cool then turned around and said, you are on the Real Housewives. She said yes then her and her husband Jim talked to Casey and I for like 5 minutes while we waited in line! It was awesome! They are super nice. She offered us gum. They had really bad garlic breathe. They whole time I was thinking what are the chances of this happening?! After awhile a worker called for a party of 2 so they went ahead of us. They first thing Casey said was wow her ring was huge (which it was) and her husband is old (which he is). And of cooourse I didn't have my camera. Stink Stink, I am still mad as of this moment about it.
However, Casey can testify to this "celebrity" sighting:) It was legit.
I am happy to say Alexis and I are tight now:)
The World of Color is A-MAZING!
Before heading home on Wednesday we ate at Tiffy's (remember Tiffy's?!) then drove to Huntington and let the boys play on the beach for a bit.
Lanes favorite ride was the scary house, aka the Haunted Mansion. After doing California Adventure all day on Tuesday he was begging to do that ride again. So at 10:30 we trekked it back into Disneyland to do just that. Remember, it's a place where kids dreams come true:)
We are blessed to be Goodmans. We love each and everyone so much. Thanks again Grammy and Papa for the memories. We love you!

sweet! this reminds me of that disneyland sing-along video we always used to watch. now you gotta go dig that video up from the basement so you can get the boys hooked on it, cause its a classic!
hope you had a churro, a corndog, a turkey leg, dippin dots, and a bread bowl of clam chowder for me
Loved all of your pics! I have a few for you as well. Thanks for all the fun memories...we had a blast with you guys!
I love the 1,2,3, warning picture. haha. crazy picture taker!
Was it hot? you all don't look sweaty. hmmmm. california rocks.
I am glad you had a blast!
that is funny that lane likes haunted mansion. It seems so uneventful. Maybe that is why he likes it so much. see ya this week!
yayyyy! Thank you for helping me live the memory through pictures!! Hopefully you guys are still doing fun things like this when we are no longer students!!
Love you all soooo much!
I would of peed my pants too if I saw a housewife. I'm glad u had an awesome Cali Trip!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous! That looks like a blast. Haven't visited Mickey since senior year. Kinda bitter about it too. Go inlaws. Where were Travis and Sunny? So is that first pic the same ride that you had that nervous breakdown when we were 10? Cuz I totally remember that whole situation and I'm pretty sure it was the rockets that went in a circle and up and down! ha!
Oh yeah, and Alexis did look familiar after all! I think about a year ago I saw pieces of one or two episodes. Funny because if we had been in your shoes we would have been totally oblivious! But we probably still would have judged the gold digger with her dad husband.
Holy moly what a fun time! I might have to tell my parents about this idea...after we come back to the states of course :) Cool story about your celeb spotting...even though I don't know who she is. I would have been ticked about not having my camera!
The boys must have been in Heaven!!! Me and Disneyland need to be reunited it's been far too long! And maybe... just maybe I can find a real housewife too... I want to meet Vicki like nobody's business she would be hilarious.
How fun. Mr. G is the most generous man I know. Oops Bishop Gee now! LOL
Shelley I saw her in Orange county shopping at nordstroms and I was stocking her with my camera. Everytime I would click she would turn. I think she figured me out. We were eating at a resturant when she walked by and I didn't know who she was...I said when I get to heaven I hope God gives me her body! LOL then my friend said that's Alexis! I said Alexis who? Crazy me. Then when they told me she is one of the OC housewives I had to get her picture for my girls. LOL the things we do for our kids!
PS. next time you see cars at our house you can count on the baby being here. Please stop by no matter what time it is! LOve you guys~
