Earlier in the week Casey and I decided to dedicate most of our day off
with cleaning out the garage! It was too dang hot
to be parking outside while our junk from the move got to take cover
in the shade. Plus I was tired of digging through boxes and wondering where everything
was. I needed order!! I didn't care if that meant giving up play time.
My dad took the boys golfing in the morning so while he was doing that
I text my sisters and mom wondering if they wanted to go to Kneaders with me for breakfast.
It was great, until the kids started going bonkers in the restaurant:/
I thought by the time we were done eating Casey would be wrapping up his game of golf
and on his way home. Well, nope.
10am came and went, 11, 11:30...
I was getting worried we wouldn't get to the garage at all!
I gathered up the boys and told them they were going to be my helpers!
We started moving things out on the drive-way and trying to group them in categories.
After an hour and dripping in sweat, it hardly looked like we dented the pile! We scraped the
whole organizing idea and started chucking things out the garage.
Casey arrived and that made the process go WAY faster.
I don't know why men can cut manual labor time in half, its not fair!
After 3 more hours we were out of the woods, until we looked in the attic.
dun, dun, dun.
It was FULL of the previous owners junk. Flipping-doo-da!!
I'm talking a heavy vanity sink with mirror, holiday decorations, a Christmas tree.
We filled the garbage cans and the back of Casey's truck.
Finally we could sweep and arrange the garage until we were DONE!!!
AHHHHH, the best feeling ever and so worth the work:)
My de-junking heart was finally happy.
As well as the Landshark (that's my car's name:).
We then loading up the kids to go SWIMMING at my parents house.
I think the best part of the 4th of July was our own personal fireworks show.
Here we are ooing and aweing over Craig's sparklers, roman candle show.
Shirtless and happy....boys for ya:)
I love how Lindi is covering Casey's ears from the noise.
Working our way up on the fireworks intensity list.
They thought this was pretty great.
But, the best was the grand finale.
And GRAND it was!!
After the first set were lit and popping in the sky,
I ditched my kids and took cover for myself in the garage:/
All I could see were flames and sparks flying passed me while I ran.
I guess Travis even got hit in the leg with one!
They were going off for a couple of minutes, it was crazy awesome!
Luckily nobody got hurt from the firework misshape of them shooting
sideways instead of up!!
Next time I think they will take the lids off the tops, oops!
In the following days we played with our cousins!!
Krazy Air was one of the activities we did.
Which was perfect for these 2.
At grandma and grandpa's house they beg to jump on the trampoline.
Most of the time they don't get to because of the older boys hogging it.
They got to jump to their hearts content:)
One day we spent pretty much the whole day at the complex on Greenfield and Baseline.
We used our pogo passes at Fat Cats and bowled for a couple of hours for FREE!
The girls loved dancing to the music they had playing.
At one point we were taking selfies.
They have a sweet kids meal for cheap with legit pizza.
This girl chowed the whole thing.
I had to take Lane somewhere, I cant remember where.
Stephanie stayed with the younger boys and
Stephanie stayed with the younger boys and
saw Inside Out while I took the girls home for a nap.
We met back up at Gecko Grill!
I seriously love that place.
The girls snagged some left over birthday crowns from the table next to us and where hamming it up!
Another night we went to visit grandmother.
She lives with Uncle Dea and Aunt Marcia now.
I hate that I don't make it over to visit her as often.
She is amazing and putting up with these last moments on earth so well.
Even though she doesn't feel well most of the time.
We had a Summer birthday celebration Sunday night!
Mmm, mother load cake tradition can stay for good!!
I blew out the candles too early, oops!
Had to burn off those chocolate, fudgy, cake calories with
a game of dippity dippity dip!
Papa and Grammy invited us to dinner at the Cheesecake factory!
These boys were being such goofs.
Watch out for the dinner bandits!!
We used our pogo passes at SUNSPASH!!!
It was SO fun.
My mom, Craig and half of their neighbor hood was there so we tagged along.
Casey couldn't take the day off of work so I left Lindi with a sitter.
We brought Randon along with us and it was a full day of fun in the sun!
Lunch break is always anticipated.
I always look forward to it:)
Nacho cheese and fries, burgers and dogs, YUM!
My mom bought us all tickets to ride the bumper boats!
Holy moly, I forgot they had water guns attached to the front of each boat.
I was soaked by the end!!
And just so you don't think its all fun and games around here,
this was a nice little master piece I woke up to one morning.
I caught her in the act and I don't think I have ever screamed so loud in my life!
I think shock hit me afterward.
I couldn't believe it.
Even though it wasn't a sharpie, mascara is still a *bleep* to get off walls.
After scrubbing you could see the ugly green paint showing through from the previous color.
Luckily our painter was needing to come back anyway.
He needed to touch up paint from the massive hole we had to cut out of our brand new drywall in our master bathroom from a leak they had to fix.

But I think she learned her lesson.
No coloring on walls mom, she tells me randomly through out the day.
Eesh,
Gotta love her.
That busted, crying face is so cute!
