Play Days!

Lindi picked Black Bear Diner for her birthday dinner!
Turning 9 gave her a hankering for pancakes.

We found ourselves sneaking away to get Casey suited for a new venture
that would be coming up in the next few weeks.
He was in dire need of new suits anyway, so it worked out perfectly!

Yes, the whole time I was thinking "that's how they do pants!"

We celebrated Grammy's birthday early with a staycation in Scottsdale!
Valerie is the best to head up most of our excursions or girl gatherings.
Luckily most of us could be there!

We ate dinner at the Roaring Fork, then went and saw the movie, Lost City.
I love me some Sandra Bullock.

We had a cozy night at the Scott resort!

I had already made plans with my sisters and mom to be in Scottsdale to celebrate my
moms 60th birthday, so unfortunately I had to leave bright and early to meet up with them.
Glad it worked out that I could be to both!

I cruised up Scottsdale road until I hit the Princess resort.
But most importantly, the SPA and the Princess resort!
One of my absolute favorite places.

Come to mama!

My Himalayan rock massage sure hit the spot!

I love that this spa gives you the FULL experience.
Lots of amenities like steam room, sauna, cold plunge,
hot tub, heated outdoor waterfall pool. You could stay all day
and lounge after your services.
Which we did!

We spent a big chunk of the day out by the pool ordering all of the things!

Beautiful sunset.

We went to dinner at some farm to table restaurant.
I can't remember the name to save my life.
But it was delicious!

Ended the day at the Sugar Bowl!

It was the best 24 hours in Scottsdale!

I love when Casey falls for my April Fools shenanigans.
I text my neighbors wondering who had amazon boxes I could use.
I could have tripled this pile!

He wasn't freaking out, just told one of the kids to go bring in all of my purchases.

After a few minutes Della said they were empty.
Then it clicked, and the sigh of relief smirk appeared.

It was great.
But sad that it was believable!

These girls do the most girly things at Sunday dinners!
Love that they have each other.
